Because he can be a knucklehead, likes to smoke weed, immature, etc..... Now if hes grown up any, I would take a flyer on him, if the price is right.

And if that wasn't enough, Howard playing in only 53 games in 3 seasons doens't instill a measure of confidence or proof of sustained health.

As stated above, if he comes in with the right at ude and for the right price, DO IT.

I don't like Howard. He has a poor at ude and his health is a question mark.

Unless seeing the Mavericks get a championship lit a fire under his ass, I don't see him being on this team as a good thing.

I haven't seen Howard play since leaving Dallas but he used to give us fits for years. I'm more concerned with his health than any discipline issue.

There isn't a SINGLE FA SF out there that is better than Green or Leonard right now or even RJ. Any SF we sign right now that keeps Leonard glued to the bench will be detrimental to the Spurs' success next year. Whatever SF the Spurs sign will be an even TIER version of RJ, and that's TY.

This guy number one, failed the eyeball test for the Wizards.

Then with his stats: atrocious. 36% from the field, 24% from 3, a 9.2 PER, revolting ORtg (89) easily his career worst by far, career worst DRtg (111) . . .

There is no statistical measure where he wasn't just a washed up injured over 30 has-been.
