CP3 has a great legal case
Yahoo Sports reported that NBA Commissioner David Stern killed the trade after several owners complained. Citing anonymous sources, Yahoo reported Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was one of the most vocal owners upset about the deal, done the same day as the end of the lockout, which was supposed to restore compe ive balance in the league.

CP3 has a great legal case
after 122-86, Cuban's still bustin that Laker ass.
Law advisor
Yahoo! Sports reported Hornets general manager Dell Demps had been allowed to negotiate trade offers without interference — and then this happened after he made a deal that did cost the Lakers a four-time All-Star in Gasol and the reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year in Odom.
a great legal case
Cuban s on the Lakers dreams again.
Cite the legal precedents you are using to make that argument, counselor.
Nothing you said has anything to do with having a case. You don't know about the terms of existing contracts and how the NBA controls trades with teams they own.
Cuban and Popovich apparently controlling the NBA trade market.
And people want to pretend Detroit legitimately won the 2004 Finals, sure they did! Jump ball violations to open the first four games (all phantom of course) and huge FT attempt differentials in every game.
The NBA is being fixed against the Lakers.
Cuban blocks after the sweep. Classic.
grow a fat and then call Maria back
Don't you mean Holt? Pop is the head coach and Prez of basketball operations. RC is the GM and Holt is the representing owner, oh famous one who's name we shall not mention.
Must be famous for sucking.
Pop was the moron who whined incessantly about the Gasol trade to the Lakers.
Then backtracked after time proved it was a very fair deal for both sides.
But you knew that, right?
Don't try and talk basketball with me, you are way out of your limited scope of knowledge when trying to go back and forth with me....I am like the IBM Supercomputer Watson when it comes to the NBA.
Could be Lamar moonlighting. Seems to have about the same IQ.
In all of Cubans fury I hope he realizes he just potentially helped the Lakers. If a Dwight deal wasn't coming this was a lateral move at best. Now it frees us up to focus on Dwight without the threat of having no frontcourt at all.
If that happens, all bets are off and maybe CP3 ends up here anyway. Get Dwight, THEN Paul. Its the natural order of things.
lol Cuban....has he come up with a design for the mavs rings yet?
I think they're going to have a crab, a whistle and a broom on them.
You have to admit though, sending one of the NBA elite to a notoriously pampered franchise right out of the "lockout to make the league more compe ive" was going to raise eyebrows.
