    Rip will go to Chicago.

What about Nocioni? I thought he was going to get waived/amnestied or something.

hes a 2 guard who cant really shoot the 3 and is an average defender. Id rather go with JA/Kawahi any day than go with Hamilton.

I mean, he's not really a small forward but the Spurs can't exactly be choosers right now.
So what's the difference between Rip Hamilton and Grant Hill?

    A ring?

    A demanding wife?

    Maybe a better salary?

Hmm that actually makes sense for them and not us. Would be a nice pickup for them.

Hearing Tyson Chandler's deal w/Knicks WILL end up as sign-and-trade w/Mavs, but Dallas will take back TBA low-salaried player Knicks choose.

Mavs' goal in that scenario would be creating sizable trade exception, since Chandler's first-year salary w/Knicks will be more than $12 mil

    Bad news.
Shelden Williams was one of the best option for a cheap vet bigman.

Doc Rivers said Jeff Green is here, on 1-year deal. Most likely, it's the $5.8 M qualifying offer.

Again, does no one think the Spurs whiffing on every FA has anything at all to do with agent backlash for Holt's actions during labor negotiations? Not saying it's a major factor, but nothing?

He could help the Mavs some, but not enough to offset losing Tyson.

Doubt it. Holt was mostly just Stern's puppet and was used as an example of "OMG even successful small market owners are losing money we need to do something drastic!!!1!!"

Posey has not reported to Pacers camp. Pacers supposed to be looking at their options.

Posey is the right kind of washed up to be Pop's new Finley.

Do it RC! (seriously, do not do it)

So far the "whiffing" the Spurs have been doing has been the sound of being outspent by teams with more than the MLE, and overpaying at that.
