if there was a backlash the agents in question would have made sure they didn't talk to the Spurs and would have made sure a Woj article making it clear that the Spurs were being blacklisted days ago.
Wow. WTF Presti?

What an uneventful day.(for the spurs)
they are still in the hunt for d12 and deron williams sweepstakes as long they both dont extend contracts with nets/magic
how come the spurs dont have out a TE, and get nene + howard for rj+bonner+dice+picks.....

The Atlanta Hawks have signed Vladimir Radmanovic, according to press release.
Sweet. The Spurs big addition this season is TJ Ford.
Meh. I don't care for West anyway.
I'm just more worried that it has been ridiculously quiet on the Spurs free agent front.
They're getting West for the luxury tax midlevel????????? Can't be serious. Does Boston have a big trade exception or something?
thats what i was wondering how
why didnt we go after wilcox... id prefer him over west

As @Daldridgetnt reports, David West close w/ Celtics. Y! Sources say sides working on a sign-and-trade for a 3-year, $27-29M deal.
Haha, Stern just rubbing salt in the Laker fans wounds now.
For those of you who are reduced to hoping for Ronnie Turiaf - he's going to the Wizards for a 2nd round pick.
Probably the Expiring contract of O'Neal, plus players/picks(some combination of Johnson, Bradley and a 1st round pick). Celtics are small, but their bigs are good shooters (West, Garnett and Bass are all very good shooters from 15 feet.)
Seriously, I can't see why the Spurs are going to try to come back with the same team when that team couldn't make it through a normally-paced schedule and looked out of gas last year.
they did it last season
Spurs could have sign and traded for him using Dyess/Blair/Butler. Unfortunately, San Antonio is no longer a premiere destination for free agents.![]()
