They can't offer anything more than the 3 year luxury tax MLE starting at $3 million, right? Unless they're amnestying Garnett or something.
Unstoppable!!!!!
Probably S&T for JO and ty talent/picks and the NBA fanbase will scream
Nevermind; they can get him at full MLE since Rasheed retired. Still, that's a huge signing for only having MLE to work with.
Broken down PF signs with 3 TOSBs. They stacked now!![]()
sign and trade. 10 mil per. must be jeff green. oneal only makes 4 million. we all know about basketball reasons...
WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
Celtics likely send Jermaine O'Neal and another player to New Orleans in sign-and-trade, sources said. Hornets would move players elsewhere.
LOL if Stern lets that go through. Jeff Green is worthless.
"Adrian Wojnarowski David West has desperately wanted to play for a winner, and will take less money to do so in Boston"
what jackass was willing to pay west more than 11 million a year? take less thats market value
i think its safe to say demps is re ed
Celtics are stacked with West as long as the they still have the core.
The big 4 reloading, nothing new.
Does this mean 3 way deal is dead with Houston,Orleans,LA?
I wonder if Stern is going to veto this,Jermaine O'neal is young talent?
unless there are more bodies coming with oneal the money doesnt add up. 4 million missing. dan gilbert must have approved it
I was about to come here and post this. How can Stern not veto David West for trash trade?
Stern needs to ing disappear forever..wow lmao.
lol this league is a ing joke.
Are people on here re ed? Chris Paul is not a free agent. David West is. Trading Paul is not the same as west since West is already gone. Getting any picks out of this is smart as long as you flip Oneal.
There are two different things going on.
1. Stern/owners (Stern represents owners, not players) want a compe ive business environment, not just a 4 team league with placebo opponents.
2. Hornets have to either have for salaries and short contracts or they have to have young talent and be ready to go. Either makes them marketable.
Old talent doesn't make the Hornets marketable anywhere, especially when that talent is new acquisitions.
So... I don't get it.
@SherrodbCSN: A source close to J. O'Neal said if he's traded to the NOH, he will ask to be waived, & will look to sign with MIA.
