The defense and special teams has been the primary reason for the Broncos success, especially Von Miller, Dumervil and Colquitt..Tebow, McGahee and the offensive line have played a significant part, though..Tebow gets too much credit for the wins, and too much blame for the inep ude of the offense, which is the custom for QBs, I suppose..
Tebow has unquestionably improved, since his first appearance..his footwork and accuracy has improved..the offensive playcalling has hurt him, too, tbh, but it has started to open up..he's no longer throwing those horrible, High School-level throws..
Tebow isn't any better than the previous version of Vince Young, tbh, but Tebow is much more mentally stable and more likely to work hard enough to improve his skillset IMO..Young never improved, he was a pussy that couldn't handle criticism, and did not work hard enough IMO..
The defense has improved, because they got healthy, particularly Dumervil, it took him a while to round into form..however, to be fair, the D does play harder for Tebow, Champ and Dawkins have both made that statement(the leaders of the D), but that isn't just primarily due to Tebow's mentality..Orton was one of the worst "field leaders" in NFL history, no team would play hard for him..
The Broncos have actually been running less option offense, transitioning to a hybrid conventional offense, as Tebow continues to improve..
