Worst preview, ever. Some guy running after the horse, and saying he'll find it, no matter what, like Daniel Day Lewis in Last of the Mohicans. WTF?
I think it looks pretty good! It will be another box office hit for him!
Why am I sure there's going to be a UFO in the movie somewhere?
What is wrong with a movie about a horse?
Have you forgotten about Secretariat?
meh i think ww1 movies are nonexistant in hollywood. bummer its pg13 though wtf.
1st that hole of a show Falling Skies and now this ter, well done Spielberg.
I know I'll be seeing it. My Dad said he really wants to see it so I'm taking him for Christmas. Is it based on a true story or something?
This. There's not enough WWI movies, imo. That being said, I'll pass on this till it's available on netflix. Best one I've seen lately is Very Long Engagement. Passchendaele and Beneath Hill 60 had subpar acting, but the action was good.
Not my cup of tea but at least its something different from Hollywood. I won't bash originality.
+1
People only want movies about WWII and Vietnam, which are getting old. And if a major producer in the US gathers the balls to make one about WWI, they make it stupid as (see "Flyboys").
Seabiscuit with guns and explosions. Sounds like a sure fire winner that I won't be watching.
Please don't tell me you watched Seabiscuit
I generally think that what drives most stupid ideas in Hollywood are the same things that drive stupid ideas in my life, namely alcohol and/or dares. My theory is that Tom Hanks or a bottle of something challenged Spielberg to combine Saving Private Ryan and Equus.
Not sure how that formula could yield a PG-13 rating. They'd have to heavily edit the battle scenes and I guess the horse ing is done really tastefully, like mostly in silhouette.
Man, what a ed up movie.
I'll Red Box it.
Money grab. Little girls all over America will be pissing their pants to be taken to see the horsey movie.
