they won't repeat, mavs had many things going for them last year, be happy with your fluke championship, look at the spurs, a far superior franchise, 4>1, and they couldn't repeat in 10 years

if they add a decent C to their squad (dalembert for example) i'd fancy their chances to win it again tbh. we're more stacked than ever before talent-wise but we're still in search of a decent C which would be the "1" leading a long queue of zeros imho. TC was the hinge to our success last season and we must find a fine replacement for him if we want to repeat it this season tbh

I do not like the VC signing or the trade off of Odom vs. Chandler for them but they have a chance - they are still a very strong team and well coached with a great big in Dirk and they have passed the psychological hurdle now. However, it is hard to believe Kidd can keep turning back the clock and an intense 66 game season should take its toil on him and their remaining guards need to step up.
wonder if this is the year dirk will turn into TOSB, i doubt it, but one can certainly hope
