    Lakers are my second favorite team. I've made it known on these boards. I don't hate the Lakers. I'm not jealous of the Lakers. My #1 team beat them twice in the NBA Finals. I'm laughing at the Lakers and it has nothing to do with hate or jealousy. And I think it's similar for a lot of the laughter from fans of other teams, even if they do traditionally hate on the Lakers. This Lakers off season has just been pretty damn amusing.

    I don't have a problem with you Jam. And yes, it has been an amusing off season. Most are laughing because it's happening to the Lakers. If Stern had done this to the Spurs there would be a meltdown here about the conspiricy. I understand the reasoning. It's the Lakers! I would hate em too, like I do the Celts, if I was from elsewhere. It's what happens when you win a lot. It's all good. I have faith we will be there despite Gilbert, Stern, and ny other hypocritical ass.

    Because they had the players to fit the triangle and PJ came back tucked tail and hands out. They chose to win then rather than rebuild. Look it up moron. There are no shortage of articles that he wished to change even when they were in the middle of the 3peat.

    He may have wanted to change, like he so often stated, but he also likes to win and went with the best option at the time to do so. Had the Lakers won last year Shaw would be the coach and they woould peobably be running the tri again. They didn't and now is the time for change.

    People on these boards laugh at the Houston Rockets all the time. They laughed at Steve Kerr and the Suns for a number of things, trading for Shaq, drafting brothers of good players, replacing Amare with Hedo and Hakim Warrick. Is it jealousy and hatred of the Rockets and Suns why people laugh at them?

    It's not always about hating the Lakers. Sometimes funny is just funny. The Lakers tried to make big, bold moves this off season. They hired Mr. Potatohead. Laughable. Metta World Peace solved the world hunger problems by eating them all. Laughable. Lakers thought they had CP3... and then they didn't. Pretty hilarious. Lamar Odom cries on radio. More hilarity. Pau Gasol says he's devastated. Vagina-beating funny. Andrei Kirilenko is the answer. Can't breathe.

    Funny is funny. It's not always about just hating the Lakers. They're no longer the defending champs. They got swept out the playoffs. This isn't 2002. It's not about hating the Lakers. People aren't jealous. People are laughing at them.
