Moving through the stages to acceptance. Probably good for our mental health.
Not really. I'm ready to flip out as soon as I see him on TV... objective I think was who said just seeing him and Ginger out there becomes a drag, and I completely agree.

I think that's acceptable. Not a max contract(He's not a max player) but super efficient as a scorer. After some reports of 4 year 60 million offers, 67 over 5 is good. I think paying a extra 2 million a year for Nene over DeAndre Jordan is good value.

Isn't Carl Landry a free agent?

He rebounds at a Bonner-ish level, so bad news there.

    But he's out there.

    true, that was me.

Seeing them on the floor just drains the enjoyment for me out of the Spurs.

They are wretched on the court, and the Spurs win in spite of them, not because of them.

our best option, if Spurs are willing to spend MLE.
but with West out of town he might take the vacant starting spot in NO and likely more money.
don't know why he's rebounding numbers are that bad. he doesn't look as if he didn't know how to rebound and for sure it's not a lack of toughness. with the Rockets he did at least decent at the boards.
playing alongside Okafor and Ariza might have further hit his already subpar number tough.

Agreed...but I doubt they do anything like that. Getting the MLE means getting rid of RJ...and it seems like they only way they are willing to do that is if they have another vet SF lined up.

I really thought Nene was out of Denver...
Nene spouted some big threats because he felt the organization "disrespected" him by not offering an extension before the end of the regular season. It turns out the new contract was all the respect he needed, after all - no matter when it came.

Never believe a professional athlete when he says it's not about the money. It's always about the money.

It's the equivalent of the dreaded "vote of confidence" for head coaches. Whenever an owner or GM gives an embattled coach the "vote of confidence", it loosely means he's outta there.

Had actually been calling for him the last few years. I have no problem seeing that #15 on the court as opposed to the one we see today.
