Nuggets, Blazers, Mavs, Thunder, Grizzlies, and Spurs are the only teams that I think have a big chance of making the playoffs besides the Lakers. Even though the Lakers have gotten weaker, so has the West as a whole.
Last time they had to depend on Kobe they couldn't make the playoffs. Now that Gasol is all but out mentally, Odom traded, s mcgee likely to be injured, no D12/Paul... they are going to have to depend on Kobe again. Plus they are suffering from too many white men on the team.
Is there any hope for the Lakers?

Making the playoffs isn't a big deal, they should have no trouble with it. Will they make it past the first round is a good question, depends how things change from now.
The chances of all three (Bryant, Bynum, Pau) staying helathy all season are ZERO.

Why are Laker fans so mad? They call people like me idiots for saying their deal was crap. They literally laugh in my face at the thought I would say NO would get a much better deal. I mean, it's like they are a little salty that the Clippers swooped in and got Paul, what gives? LA is still a good team, so why all the hate towards people with valid basketball takes like myself?

Short answer: Yes
Anyone actually saying the Lakers won't make the playoffs is re ed. As long as they have their frontline and Kobe can produce, they'll be there.
