The Spurs should get that guy as a replacement for Bonner. He can shoot lights out, has a fast release, and needs little space to get his shot off. I am tired of watching Bonner's slow release. Most people can hit a decent percent on three's giving enough time but having a fast release and being accurate is much harder.

You are all going to be surprised at how good TJ Ford is.... This kid is quick and he can get into the lane at will, he also has much better pg skills than George Hill. He may not be the best shooter, but he can score in bunches. I followed him alot when he was a Raptor. He's really going be an asset to the Spurs.

I really like this pickup. Ford is a Texas guy through and through and he's an actual POINT GUARD, unlike huge Hill.

TJ Ford is talented, really fast, really quick, and can score. I'm not denying that. He's way more talented than George Hill is. The problem is that he is a HUGE ball hog, with a HUGE ego.

And he loves to ISO and street ball. Besides that, he is totally redundant to Parker.

I don't see how he fits the Spurs.

I don't know why people are hating this signing so much. I think that the second unit will benefit greatly from a natural creator bringing up the ball.

Parker being a scoring point means that we have to have a pass first pg on the 2nd team for balance. Hill was a great defender but he's a 2 guard.

I'm excited cause a motivated, healthy TJ is gonna run circles around the majority of the leagues 2nd string pgs.

Basically he had one game where he went 0/4 from the floor but had 10 assists, then one game where he had only 3 assists but scored 12 points on 50% shooting and got to the line 6 times.

He took a total of ten shots in 33 minutes of Euroleague game time.

I think he offers a good opposite to Parker. You need a PG that can see that someone's not being involved and goes out of his way to get that guy an easy basket to get him going. By passing the PG can make the other 4 guys on the court more serious threats to score than trying to attack himself.
