Downstairs someone said that the Clippers will have to amnesty either Mo Williams or Kaman to have enough space to match DeAndre Jordan's contract. Obviously Kaman becomes a target if he's amnestied (perhaps the Spurs amnesty RJ and offer Kaman the full $5M midlevel), but what about Mo? LLE? He'd be a of a lot better than TJ Ford.
MO Will is just another shooting pg with even worse court vision than TP IMO. He does have a better jumpshot and he has the MO FLO (his version of TP's floater)

Had actually been calling for him the last few years. I have no problem seeing that #15 on the court as opposed to the one we see today.
Let's be real, Matt Bonner would school (skool, whatever it is in Greece) Roberto Yoda .

If the Clippers did in fact amnesty Kaman, how would claiming him work. If we amnesty RJ that would put us under the cap correct? So could we claim him for more than the MLE when Kaman hits waivers or is the MLE/4 years the max we could offer still?

I was chillin' yesterday watching an old spurs game I recorded. It was them playing the Raptors in the 04-05 season, and all of a sudden during the second quarter chris bosh went out with a few fouls and there he was "The Red Rocket" running around getting abused by Tim and Rasho. And I thought to myself, if I could tell myself then that in 5-6 yrs the Spurs rely heavily on this guy. Just looking at him knowing he was a significant part of tearing down what this franchise was all about.

no, waiving RJ puts the Spurs under the tax threshold, but not under the cap.
    Spurs can't bid.
somone would claim him, just like it happened with Billups.

but it would be very strange if they did it. they need his contract for trades, if CP3 didn't work, they will likely try something else.

    FINALLY.... CP3 traded to Clipps

    ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein
ESPN sources say NBA approval to be issued by night's end to seal CP3 and 2 future 2nd-rounders to Clips for Gordon/Kaman/Aminu/Sota first

Now it will be interesting to see what Hornets do with Kaman and what Clips do w/their 4 pgs. I am sure Minnesota would be interested haha.

Not too bad for NO- esp that Minnesota pick might be good.
Now maybe the Spurs can pry Kaman or Okafor from the Hornets with their
    incredible desirable trade assets ....

This is a home run for the Hornets. Arguably the best young SG in the league, an excellent draft pick that will look even better once the league makes sure either Davis or Drummond end up there, a quality SF prospect and another quality asset in Kaman, that can easily be traded for more good young assets.

For the Clippers, they shouldn't have given up Gordon. Should have thrown in Bledsoe, their own future 1st and not taken either 2nd back, if it took that to keep Gordon out of it. The league may have been playing hardball, but that still would have been better than anything else any other team offered. I figured when they claimed Billups that Gordon was going to be included in the trade though.

You can debate the order, but this trade and the Nuggets moves yesterday probably seals the eight playoff spots in the West: Thunder, Spurs, Mavs, Lakers, Grizzlies, Clippers, Nuggets, Trail Blazers.

Pretty soon there will be calls for Javtokas.

    I'm a Sankidze man myself.
Sanikidze was an Italian League all-star last year and all-defensive team.

This year he's 11th in scoring and 2nd in rebounding, 14.2 and 10.2.

He's also attempting 4.3 3-pointers a game and knocking them down at 41% (13th in the league) and shooting 50.5% from the field in total.

I don't understand how he's regarded like he's Sergei Karaulov around here, but I'm not surprised.

Word is he won't extend with the Hornets, so it's gonna be a wait and see type trade to see if it really was a good trade for NO.

all the clippers really gave up in value was gordon. gordon is good but a lot of players can score 22 points on the clippers. especially when davis was perennially injured and really no other decent players were manning the wing. we'll see what gordon turns into later but now his skill is probably the same as kevin martin. but lol if gordon turns around and signs with the clippers after his rookie contract expires.

Alan Hahn of Newsday reported Wednesday that there is mutual interest between the Knicks and recently waived Baron Davis.

Davis will need to clear waivers to land in their lap, but Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal just tweeted that his injury is "legit and severe." Davis' agent confirmed the report and said he would be out "several weeks." Temper your expectations for Davis and don't worry him impacting the rotation wherever he lands, at least in the near future.

    Novak > Bonner

Please RC and Pop, package Bonner with McDyess for anything (like a Landry S&T) and get Bonner off this team for good this time.
