Two things that my friend and I came up with.
His is the boobs to gut ratio. A thick girl can still be hot if her boobs are bigger than the gut, and a skinny girl can be ugly if she's flat all the way through (although truth be told I'm an ass man, so this aspect isn't nearly as important to me).
Then there's the ass. It has to meet certain characteristics. I say it's like diamond grading for asses. There has to be size (as in, there has to be something there), hips and curvature. Can you see it from the back and side. If there's something there, it's nice and round, and can be seen from the back (hips) and profile, then it will pass the test. Size is actually the least important factor as I've known girl with small asses that were nice and big asses that were not.
Eyes is also a big one as it's definitely the first thing I notice on a girl when I talk to her. I work with a girl who is cute, but nothing to write home about. But her eyes are so beautiful I actually would, and for no other reason really.
Voice can definitely be one. If you listen to Adam Carolla's podcast, his news girl Allison Rosen has a great voice.

I see some women as attractive, and some as sexy, but not all attractive women are sexy.
I have to get to know a woman before I would ever consider her sexy. I don't think you can fake sexy, but some people try with the poses and the styling. Sexy women would still be sexy in a burlap sack as a dress.
Also, the more a woman dresses up to look "good" the less I find her appealing. I like the no makeup, don't look at me moments. That's what's sexy.
Agreed, this chick I've been studying with is "attractive" mainly personality wise but also pretty, just not sexy. I just couldn't bring myself to make a move, don't have the heart to play with her emotions if I ain't serious about it. Friends/study partners it is. Tee, hee.
