Well
What Happens in the Dark Knight Rises Prologue
The prologue opens Commissioner Gordon talking about Harvey Dent’s death, and how he believed in him. Screen fades black and reopens to a team of mercenaries approaching a plane with two prisoners in tow. The prisoners are hand cuffed and black bags are set over thier heads. The soldiers talk to what seems to be a investigative agent that has been searching for Bane. They converse about the prisoners possible connection with Bane.
The investigator’s team have a plane ready to take off and the two prisoners are thrown into the plane. As the plane reaches a higher al ude the landscape shows a rain forest type of terrain that makes you think they are somewhere in South America.
The lead investigator starts to interrogate the two prisoners and threatens that the first person to talk gets to stay on the plane. One prisoner is dragged on the floor over the plane’s doorway to have his head hanging out and the investigator threatens him to talk, after the prisoner goes silent the investigator fires a gun next to head and says he is dead. (a bluff to scare the second prisoner into talking)
When the second prisoner is dragged into position, the investigator asks how is it that Bane’s men are so tight lipped. The first prisoner speaks and the hood is removed revealing Bane himself. (The south american accent Tom Hardy has sounds pretty decent) The investigator wants to know why Bane would let himself get captured and it turns out he came on board to find out what the investigators knew about him, as well as to identify the presence a defector/unwilling member of his organization that is now in the investigator’s hands.
Above the plane flys a even larger transport plane, Bane’s soldiers repel down to take over the smaller plane. There is a shoot out and Bane breaks free of his binds. There are now large tow cables hooked up to the tail end of the plane and Bane’s assault team plant explosives to take out the rear section of the plane leaving a hole straight into the interior. The smaller plane is dragged in such a way where the nose dives down and wind shear rips both of the wings off.
Somehow a body bag is lowered from the transport plane in through the tail section hole of the dragged plane. There is a unconscious man in the bag, and Bane takes the defector’s arm and jams a needle into it, he starts a blood transfusion between the defector and the man in the body bag! The man in the body bag appears to have come to life, and speaks to Bane briefly. A Harness is attached to Bane and he grabs hold of the defector. Explosives go off and the two are propelled out of the tail section to watch the smaller plane explode and hurdle back to the ground.
The screen fades to a collage of clips, and we see Catwoman on the Bat Pod, A new Bat Vehicle (Possibly the Batwing) hovering in a street. Batman and Bane fighting on the steps of what looks like Gotham’s City Hall and finally we see Bane walk away with Batman’s mask possibly removed from Bruce Wayne and it’s condition is broken in the grasp of his hands.
The screen fades black and displays a blue shattered glass Batman logo
By the way, the guy who wrote is off concerning Bane's accent
I would say it's Eastern European
Here is a bootleg
2nd video
Dont say it'S crappy
You have to see it in IMAX

Plus that bootleg is too dark
You have to see Bane's eyes![]()

I was not a fan of Bane's accent (nothing about it hints at South America) and I think the look of him isn't translating so well in motion, but I saw it on the low res, poorly lighted bootleg. So, who knows. I think Bane was a poor choice to begin with but we'll see. I'm still thinking Deadshot might be connected in some way, maybe via JGL.
Deadshot?
Bane is a great choice
And yeah, as I said, ty bootlegs don't do justice to the prologue
I desperately want to see the prologue, but it didn't screen early in New Orleans and I don't know if I'll have enough time in upcoming weeks to justify s ing out IMAX prices for a Mission Impossible sequel I'm not that excited about. Especially not if my limited time and money force me into a decision between MI: Ghost Protocol or Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Although, since movie theaters are bas s and TTSS isn't currently playing in any of the places I'll be spending the next month and a half, that may not be an issue.
Do it man
You can do it
Apparently Ghost Protocol is getting really good reviews.
[spoilers]the scene with Hines Ward running for the TD with the field exploding behind him is probably going to be one of my only real complaints; I understand Bane is making a statement and what better than a stadium. I'll wait till the movie comes out but I just don't think sports really fit into the dark knight/Nolan universe[/spoilers]
So what's the story with Bane's face mask...asthma???
Trust me.
You wont be disappointed
Holy
The full trailer already leaked![]()

i liked the black gotham rogues jerseys better
The trailer was taken down. At least I got to see it.
Damn, sounds ing EPIC. Can't wait to see this......
Prologue = underwhelming...but the trailer is supremely epic. I can see the film falling short of TDK in terms of "oh " moments, but it looks like a quality ending to the trilogy.
we'll never know how it was really supposed to end since Heath Ledger couldn't handle his sleeping meds
Did you see the prologue in IMAX?
I did go to the IMAX screening, and then watched the bootleg
Not the same thing - TRUST ME
The prologue was more epic than most 2011 full movies![]()
still bank heist > plane heist
all I know is compared to BB and TDK; TDKR is going to be "different" just has a different feel than the previous two. I have trust in Nolan but I think this movie is going to change the definition of what a Batman movie is...and that will take time for fans to adjust to.
TDK was different from BB, so TDKR being different from both of them is not really surprising.
DId you see the plane heist in IMAX or not ?
That is spectacular
No CGI in that scene
And Bane is so badass he makes the Joker look like Robin
Hardy![]()
