Oh, and this may sound odd...but for reason...and it may have been the beers and is very chauvanistic..I thought Bachman looked...well....kind of hot.
bukkakable face and I did notice the extra long eyelashes but her neck looks like a neck from dawn of the dead

I agree, Bachmann looked Pelosi plastic.

Frankly, I was disappointed Megyn Kelly didn't get to moderate more of the debate. She's smokin' hot.

disagree, both Paul and Bachman are alive and well after this debate
    We'll see.

Bachmann's, "I'm a serious contender!" was juvenile. I seriously thought she was going to cry like a school girl. Plus she out and out lied about both Gingrich's lobbying and his pro-life record.

Paul's unhinged rant on Iran lost him everyone but the Ronulans and, they aren't a double-digit crowd.

Huntsman blew it from the start by dissing the Donald. Sadly, as he is still by far my favorite GOP candidate, he'll be joining Cain in the depot very, very soon.

In a Homecoming Queen but, not a President.

Ronulans -- some of whom started some ruckus on the Fed, later on, and had to be removed. I don't think Paul got as much applause on his Iran position as you think. Maybe as he started out but, as his rant became more unhinged from the reality -- everyone else in the world sees about Iran -- the applause died.

you have Santorum and Bachman warmongers wanna go ahead and bomb. they got some applause

Mitt and Newt just wanna give a blank check to the MIC. no applause

Paul was on the other extreme and got some applause

Huntsman actually had the best answer to the Iran scenario but yeah, everyone else was on the extremes which does not either help them or hurt them.

Have you looked at his record? He truly is the most conservative of the group. Simply because the man served under Obama he isn't given an honest look. He has the credentials and is articulate and has a grasp of foreign policy above all the others, IMHO.

Yep. I've looked at him. He's not a serious candidate.

well if I had to pick 1 word for Iran, either bully or victim vs. USA, I would pick victim. I agree with Dr. Paul

when has Iran been a bully, when we destroyed their democratic leader in 53? or when we supported Iraq vs them in that horrific war?

those are the 2 biggest events in Iran history

I'll rewatch that portion of the debate when it shows up on YouTube, and it will, and I'll give you another assessment. All I remember thinking the whole time Paul was talking was that moderates and independent jaws were dropping all over the fruited plain.

And, you're right, Santorum and Bachmann seemed to have already locked and loaded.

Mitt and Newt responded with sober analysis about what is known and suspected about Iran's intentions...and how Obama's policy of engagement has only made the matter worse.

Honestly, I don't recall what Huntsman said.

    Really?

Who's been supplying IEDs to our enemies for the past 10 years?

Who's been arming Israel's enemies for the past 40?

Who's been arming Hezbollah and Hamas?

when has Iran been a bully, when we destroyed their democratic leader in 53?
Mosaddeq was a democratic leader in the mold of Hugo Chavez who nationalized the oil industry and seized international assets. He ed up.

...or when we supported Iraq vs them in that horrific war?
At this point, I wish they had annihilated each other. But, at the time, Iraq was the lesser of the two evil and, like it or not, that region is vital to our national and economic security -- and, it has been for quite some time.

those are the 2 biggest events in Iran history
As long as they continue to threaten and kill Americans, I'm in favor of ending the regime in Iran.

    Not our problem.

Bush ed up several times. You're saying he was fair game to be overthrown by Iran.

You think Obama ed up. You're saying the US government can now be justifiably overthrown by Iran.

    You're an idiot.

so we should kill Hugo Chavez too??? great another war!

Saddam's crazy regime was the lesser of the 2 evils? how was Iran's regime more evil than Saddam's regime?

    A) Iraq attacked Iran first
    B) Iraq used WMDs on Iran (not viceversa)
    C) At UN, "United States prevented the UN from condemning Iraq" (from UN exerpts)

tbh, Iran has the 100% right to hate the guts of the US.

I like Paul, but he can't get stuck in foreign policy. He should be quick and decisive and not get bogged down.

Even if he's right about Iran, he shouldn't try to sympathize with them. Its a rogue government. His answers on Iran are inefficient. and insufficient. Its a weakness that he's let get exploited.

Iraq's invasion to Iran was illegal and was all about hatred towards Shiites and wanting their oil. However, the hostages were in Iran so most of the world didn't care and encouraged Iraq.
