Bouton's being an idiot notwithstanding, Teysha does incline to the feminine. If I hadn't read someone else declare your sex, with apparent authority, I would have thought you female, as well.

Indignation over these types of errors in an internet forum, where anonymity combined with screwy screen names and avatars, seems pretty petty. But, if it bothers you, who am I do tell you not to act like a girl about it.
Links in my sig are fairly obvious. Additionally, Teysha is a word from the Caddo. It didnt mean girl to them either.

Sigs are annoying so, I have them turned off. And, I'm not an expert on Native American languages.

Jeeze, don't be so thin-skinned, Teysha could reasonably be confused with a girl's name.

How Solyndra's Failure Promises a Brighter Future for Solar Power

Of course, China helped Solyndra's demise as well, pumping money into silicon solar panel–makers such as Suntech and Trina Solar. In 2010 alone Trina produced one gigawatt worth of silicon solar panels. Much like U.S. companies: "the goal is to achieve grid parity," Trina spokesman Jeffrey Fan said during a visit to the company's Beijing offices in 2010. "This industry is very policy driven," whether that policy be rich feed-in tariffs in Germany or subsidies for manufacturers in China.

In essence, China has been loaning Chinese solar module manufacturers in that country money at low-interest rates for both production and installation, even when installation takes place in other countries such as Germany, which makes Chinese products unbeatably cheap when paired with Chinese advantages in labor and logistics costs. "The cost of financing for U.S. and [European Union] production accounts for one third of the cost per kilowatt-hour," Fthenakis notes. In other words, easy financing makes China-made solar cells much cheaper than those from manufacturers who must pay interest on any money borrowed to build factories or install modules. "I would have more confidence in the U.S. solar industry if we take China to the [World Trade Organization] and slow down the unfair compe ion," Fthenakis adds.

"China in particular has been a lot more aggressive" in its support of solar and other renewable energy technologies, DoE's Kelly notes. "They've figured out that clean-energy manufacturing will be an area of major growth and are investing vastly more than we are to support it."

In comparison, the U.S. spends roughly $1 billion a day importing oil. Diverting 10 percent of that money to supporting the solar industry would instantly put the U.S. ahead of China in terms of industrial support. "To walk away from what is one of the most promising areas of the future is insane," van Mierlo argues. "We have to compete. It would be profoundly un-American not to compete."

Obama Administration Approves 2 Huge Renewable Energy Projects

. A 300-MW solar PV project in Arizona and a 186-MW wind project in California were approved for construction on public lands. Additionally, the “first step” of a major offshore wind transmission line (or ‘superhighway’) in the Atlantic Ocean — the one Google has invested in — went forward.

Together, the Sonoran Solar Energy Project and the Tule Wind Project will create enough power for nearly 150,000 homes and will create 700 jobs at peak.

“Salazar’s announcements are the latest in a series of solar, wind, geothermal and transmission facility approvals resulting from Interior’s renewable energy program that has focused the Department’s resources to prioritize and process existing applications in a coordinated, focused manner with full environmental analysis and public review,” the Department of the Interior notes.

“In the past two years, Salazar has used this approach to approve 25 major renewable energy projects on public lands. When constructed, the projects are expected to create nearly 12,000 construction and operational jobs and produce nearly 6,200 megawatts of energy, enough to power 2.2 million American homes. These projects include 15 commercial-scale solar energy facilities, three wind projects and seven geothermal plants.”

Rove’s Crossroads GPS Drops $500,000 Ad For Latest Solyndra Attack

Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS has released a new smear ad criticizing President Obama on the administration’s investment in the solar company Solyndra. The $500,000 ad is scheduled to run throughout the week, nationwide.

As President Obama said in his State of the Union address, his administration is committed to the promise of American clean energy, even though some companies may fail to others in the marketplace. 180,000 pages of do ents from a Congressional investigation confirmed that the Department of Energy’s investment in the advanced technology of Solyndra was based on the merits.

Rove pimping his HUGE bogus scandal, trying to slime Obama.

"What about the jobs, Karl?" what your plan there?
