A lifetime of therapy begins here.
Officials from Rosemount High School are apologizing for a so-called "prank" that will almost surely lead to a lifetime of awkward family gatherings and thousands of hours of therapy for the students involved.
At an end-of-the-year pepfest last week, a group of winter sports captains were blindfolded in the school gym in front of their peers, and told they would be receiving a kiss from a "special someone."
These poor kids reasonably assumed they were about to make out with their classmates. But the assembly organizers had something else in mind: their parents.
Footage of the assembly shows a scene that would make even Sigmund Freud cringe. Dads kissing daughters. Mothers kissing sons.
And these are not just innocent pecks on the lips. The parents are intimately lip-locking their children for several seconds. One even progresses to rolling around on the gym floor. In another instance, a mother moves her son's hand south so he's grasping her butt.
After the make-out session comes to an end, the still-blindfolded kids are asked to guess who kissed them.
"Um, they had luscious lips," says one poor soul.

From 0:28-31 you see the mother force the son's hand onto her ass.

What the happenedd in the first part that sets the context for it to be OK. Did they pass our roofies and vodka shots?What some are upset about is what they saw in a59-second YouTube clip, which, according to Principal Wollershiem isn't 100-percent indicative of what happened at the assembly.
It is just a clip taken from an activity that went on for nearly a half an hour.
"A lesson to be learned is that what you see on the Internet, sometimes you just see portions of what really happened and it can lead you to think a certain way," he said.
That happened at a pep rally when I was in high school. Most of the blindfolded football players realized quickly they were face to face with their mothers -- one guy even said "You smell like my mom" before she leaned into give him a kiss.
One dude, however, didn't figure it out and ended up trying to get down with his mother (she quickly pushed him away).
