I do not believe this to be an accurate prediction.
This team is going to be better than people think

Rubio sucks
Would be cool to see Rubio live up to the hype, as he was a lot of fun to watch around 2008.
They have talent, but it's largely redundant. The team's best shooter is Derrick Williams, who's a PF off the bench. They'll put up points, but their defense is going to suck, and until they trade off 2 of the 4 of Beasley, Randolph, Webster or Johnson, they'll still just be the T-Pups.
I think they are going to be a fun team to watch
Teams that will miss playoffs this year in the west:
Hornets
Warriors
Kings
Suns
Nuggets
Jazz
Rockets
Why would the Nuggets miss? They were just as good a team without Anthony as they were with him, and they were a playoff team without any real losses. Smith is gone, but they brought in Fernandez who's a streak shooter. Felton is gone, but they brought in a veteran Andre Miller.
I think the Nuggets are definitely in. Jazz should be competing as well.
China is holding some of their players hostage
Not sure about playoffs but I think they will be fun to watch ...
I do think they have some redundancy of talent that is not always good... if they could make a move for an established veteran star who is unhappy elsewhere ...they would have a shot at playoffs. Right now they have really no veteran leadership.
And hornets fans dont worry it will probably still be a lotto pick you got. But liek I said when teh trade went down it wont have as good as odds as many think.
I forgot about Martin.
The streak-scorer role of Smith's was replaced with Fernandez. Chandler hurts for depth, but their roster is talented enough to make noise in the watered down west...
PG: Lawson, Miller
SG: Afflalo (if re-signed), Fernandez, Hamilton
SF: Gallinari, Brewer
PF: Harrington, Faried
C: Nene, Anderson, Mozgov
If they can re-sign either Afflalo and get Martin back from China as some reports suggest could happen, they are a 45-50-win team. Even without Martina and Chandler, I don't think this team is hurting. Maybe a bit of defense at the PF position, but they have scoring enough to not be hurt by Smith and Chandler's loss.
I was watching the Wolves last night and they looked damn good, Rubio is gonna be awesome, has really good vision.
Kevin Love was stroking it from three
Nuggets and Rockets are both better than the Wolves.
It was the only game on so I watched a couple of minutes. I actually think they have a pretty good shot at 10th place in the west.
They have a lot of young high energy guys and some really weird matchups.
Love is like a stretch 4 but plays big in the post. Beasley is like SF/PF, Williams rookie looked good, Rubio looked good, and JJ Barea has been the best PG the past few years.
I agree with DonkeyBong. I think the T-Wolves will sneak in the 8th spot. Denver will be screwed by not having all of their guys.
Why do people constantly forget/ignore that two of the three nuggets players in china are unrestricted free agents who the organization were never bringing back, mostly due to being massive knuckleheads.
well sons in a shortened season where the players haven't been training like they should anything can happen. I mean, just look at the 1999 season for example. anyone has a shot at winning the le. its basically a crapshoot
you had to look up 'solicit', didn't you? be honest.
Son, does this mean we're looking at an asterisk?
No. That's your mother's starfish yer looking at, ya sick thing, you.
