Pretty pumped right now....hope he doesn't disappoint. Dude's curve is beyond ridiculous. The Ichiro of pitchers?

The Texas Rangers have won the posting auction of Japanese right-hander Yu Darvish with a record $51.7M bid, sources tell Yahoo! Sports

THAT sushibreath imo
Dude looks sick, BUMP.
Good. Now if only CJ Wilson and the best player in the game hadn't gone to a division rival this wouldn't feel like a consolation prize.
I mean, I understand your Pujols dilemma, but are we really that torn up over losing CJ? Tha guy had lost his command, expected too exorbitant a salary after a terribly sub-par postseason, was terribly unlikeable, and was apparently a cause of friction in the clubhouse to boot...that is, if I correctly understood the tail end of their convo on the ticket yesterday.
Is that a curveball? Looks more like a wicked slider or an in between slurve type pitch. Would like to know how fast he throws that breaking pitch. Something awkward about how he throws it. A lot more wrist than arm. But the pitch looks pretty nasty.
Rangers MAY be able to replace his production with Darvish, but I don't think he makes the Angels rotation worse with his presence. It's a net loss for the Rangers.
Abso inglutely brother!
This guy is just lucky to be playing on America's Team. He should be sucking Nolan Ryan's right now or should it be the other way around? After all this guy is gonna demolish Ryan's numbers so it's kind of an insult to Darvish to compare him to a lesser guy like Nolan Ryan
Bull
Our farm system is loaded with current allstar talent that will eventually go on to Cooperstown! Just plug them into the rotation and let's keep it rolling!
great, another Park
Hopefully Nolan and the Maddux brothers can help him have a smooth transition.
He obviously has great stuff, I just hope he can adjust to the Major's, and not flame out like many predecessors.
Maybe if Yu would've accepted wampum, ya'll mighta stayed in the running...
