The one positive about this offseason: everyone else in the west (other than the Clippers and Thunder), got worse while the Spurs pretty much stayed level.
Mavs lost Chandler and Barea.
Lakers lost Odom.
Memphis lost Battier and Arthur.
Nuggets aren't a contender anyway.
Blazers replaced Roy with Crawford.
Now, if Splitter plays at a high level this year (assuming popovich gives him the chance), then the Spurs should be better.
