What will it be? is a question that we spurs prognosticaters have been dealing with forever.
2003 Barbosa, traded to Suns
If we draft Josh Howard, what will it be?
2004 Beno Udrih, traded to wolves for 2nd round pick(top 57 protected), at last got nothing back
If we draft Travor Ariza, what will it be?
2005 Ian Mahinmi, after 4 years benching in San Antonio, he joined Mavs and get a ring!!
If we dratt C.J.Miles or Andray Blatche, what will it be?
2007 Tiago Splitter, finally signed with spurs last season, but always sitting.
If we draft Marc Gasol, what will it be?
2008 George Hill, traded to pacers for Kawhi Leonard
A nice pick in recent years, but at last Hill doesn't stay. If we draft DeAndre Jordan, we will have a shotblocker along with Duncan now.
What will it be? is a question that we spurs prognosticaters have been dealing with forever.
spurfan stays up at night contemplating such things.
And the gay ones say "what will it be?"
and now imagine all the other "what if" threads from all the other fan forums.
start with the Blazers.
1987 the Spurs get the #2 pick and draft Armen Gilliam... what will it be?
1997 the Spurs get the #2 pick and draft Keith Van Horn... what will it be?
Count your blessings!
[what if] Pierce doesn't have a peanut for a brain late in the 4th quarter on Thursday, June 17th, 2000 & a 10?
Artest doesn't pe ion for a name change, that's for darn tootin'.

My oh so obvious answers in bold
if you hadn't drafted Parker and manu with a late 1st rd pick and a 2nd rounder, what would have things been? you guys are lucky enough to have won 4 rings with such a small payroll tbh
spurs dealt scola to houston just to dump a bad contract (jackie butler) which was also a blunder imho
This.
Our problem isn't who we drafted, but who we played (as of late).
That's the one there:::Scola continues to be the elephant's shadow in Bexar County.
With him in San Antonio I wouldn't have a pot to piss in & a 5-4 window to throw it out of.
If we had kept Mahinmi, all our frontcourt problems would be a thing of the past and we would still be worrying about the 3 spot the most. But that also means Miami would've won the championship, so I don't mind him leaving.
Lol @ not including Scola on that list - THE biggest front office -up in Spurs history. That was the beginning of the end of the championship aspirations of this franchise.
Lol, Jackie Butler.
Lol, drunk ass Buford.
Lol, bought into his own hype Popovich.
