28 minutes tonight and contributed nothing besides providing rebounding opportunities.

Pop gets a pass on this game. With only 4 bigs on the roster, he HAD to play him. Plus, 3 fouls in 7 minutes for Duncan and Balir picking up 3 fouls left him no choice but to play fire crotch.
I'll give Pop credit that when Blair picked up 2 early, at least Splitter was the first big off the bench. Seems we were wrong in thinking Pop won't play Duncan and Splitter together much.
I just for the love OF GOD LIKE 07 wish we did not have to play him at all! Seems they played him only then in garbage time, after that they had to play him and it's been disasterous! He is horrible, flat out bad most of the time sides his early year runs at threes! It seems we are stuck playing him alot in situations like tonight.
I can't understand why the FO isn't considering Yi Jianlian. The dude's a free agent and he's simply heads and shoulders better than Bonner.
They might as well pull some guy from the audience and have him heave up 3s. The defense will be the same.

Those other 8 minutes would have been Duncan's (and hopefully a lot more) if not for the ticky-tack fouls he picked up in the 1st half. 7 minutes in the 1st half will not be the norm for Timmay.
I'm hoping Pop keeps Splitter as the first big off the bench, whether it's Duncan or Blair that gets in foul trouble first. Then bring in Bonner to finish up with Splitter down low until Tim can get back in the game.
20 mins is 18 minutes too many, IMO...
