I liked Captain America best out of the comic book movies. Senna was easily the best movie I saw last year, with Cave of Forgotten Dreams right behind that.
Mine were Super 8, Thor, Rise of the Planet of the Apes (predictable, tbqh), and Xmen.
I have yet to see some of the movies getting Oscar buzz such as Drive.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2
Warrior
50/50
limitless was alright..
insidious, just because they did a good job with the sound on the movie the ending was kind of crappy, but it was still good.
Bridesmaids
Source Code
Tree of Life
Lincoln Lawyer
Super
Ip Man 2
Hesher
imo
Still haven't seen a lot of movies though...
My favorite was Drive.
Go ahead and call me a , but the only thing I hated was the over the top gore. Thought it was going to take itself a little more serious.
The Help
Midnight in Paris
My Afternoons with Marguerite
.....
Honorable mention:
The Help (evil white people)
The Tree of Life
The Devil's Double
Win Win

Drive seems interesting too...
whoa that came out this year? I just assumed it was sitting in netflix for a while. That's up there for me.
As far as theater planet of the apes.
The Ides of March was my favorite.
I didn't see a whole lot of movies this year. Planning to rent Tree of Life this weekend.
Ip Man 2 I believe was released in 2011 in the US... but was really out in 2010 in other places.. so I just put it there.
Senna is on Netflix instant.
With that soundtrack? lol.
Senna
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Harry Potter
X Men: First Class (My movie of the year)
Hanna
Good call, forgot about Hanna. I am seeing Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy this weekend, been a fan of John Le Carre for some time. Anyone care to say how Oldman compares to Alec Guinness as Smiley? He played him in two BBC productions.
Drive and Moneyball
Rise of The Planet of The Apes
The Help
J. Edgar Hoover
Super 8 and X-Men for sure. Didn't see Thor or Rise yet. But Super8 was all around good times, and X-Men was the best in the franchise yet.
Also thought Bridesmaids was the funniest movie I seen this year, followed by 30 Minutes or Less, Your Highness, and Horrible Bosses.
X-men was my fav. Planet of the apes is a close second.
Rise of the planet of the apes
Ghost protocol
Holmes 2
Rest was (still better than Inception though)
Thats ok cause I thought the Source Code was god awful. HPDH was probably my most disappointing movie of the year. The source material lent itself to an epic ending and the ending was just flat as . Really poor adaptation.
Forgot about Hanna and Moneyball. Also Contagion was scary as in a this is completely plausible way.
Was Matchete this year? Cause if so it deserves to be in the list if for nothing else but "Matchete don't text"
