Don't bet on road favorites. Especially against a better team.
That Tenn bet is not worth 3 bills. Houston can just run the ball and still beat Tenn.
Tenn got beat bad by Indy just two weeks ago.

Foster will get some carries but Tate is very good so they don't lose all that much if Tate is running. Andre Johnson will also take the field for 15 to 20 snaps. The have to get him back on the field so expect some balls his way.

I like the teams heading for the playoffs against the dead weak teams.

You are better off picking one of these teams and rolling with the better team.
I have seen in years past that teams that have nothing to play for and are dead and out with bad years go down bad against teams headed for the playoffs and still playing for something. These teams are all not likely to lose so you just have to cover the spreads. Those double digit spreads are not so insurmountable against teams that are ready to pack it in for the season.

This is the week to roll your money on a big favorite against a team that is ready for the offseason. Those players are looking at the offseason and some of them will be playing like it.

Atlanta (-11.5) is a sketchy pick, imo. The Lions will more than likely win their 1pm game, giving ATL nothing to play for at 4:15.

Neither do I, but they play at 1:00 and will go balls out to win while they're still in the picture. Kubiak will say all the right things, but he has nothing to gain and a lot to lose if he plays his starters major minutes.

Teams can have nothing to play for and still cover the line against teams that are ready for the offseason. These playoff teams want to stay sharp so expect enough effort to cover lines.

I see a big effort to clinch that #1 seed at home and enough to cover the 10.5 spread. I would rather lose taking NE at home becuse they did not cover the spread than lose taking Tenn on the road because I am hoping Houston tanks the game by sitting all their best players.

This crazy season there are going to be many more blowouts than a regular season with all the back to backs, tired teams on the road and even some back to back to backs. Just play the schedule and you should do well.
