you have a pure angel on your hands...Kori and I have never said anything inappropriate to each other...in fact most all of our conversations have been about you and the family. She told me in detail about what you went through and I told her I would pray for you and I did...I also told her that she was special..given her loyalty and devotion to you through your ordeal you should know that...not many women like her left in the world...she's a beautiful spirit and I've told her such...I think what you both do as far as your family is concerned make you both great humanitarians...so no my friend you have nothing to worry about Kori ain't going no where...the only thing I've ever told her was that she was beautiful and that if you weren't in the picture I'd try to extend my friendship...you actually think I don't know that she tells you what I say...of course I do...and I choose my words carefully...I'm not a home wrecker...trust me she's madly in love with you and you should be proud of her...stop making these type of bull ass threads for no good reason...recognize the loyal and devoted angel that you have...

Yeah, they could most certainly go that route. But it's a pretty damn stupid route to go. Playoffs? Sure. Only to get raped annually by NY and Miami. And with virtually no room for growth. They are much better off trying to rebuild for the future with picks and youth. I find it hard to believe they could be stupid enough to accept such a trade. I think they would only complete a direct trade with LA if they could get Bynum and Gasol both. Otherwise, another team is going to have to get involved and send Orlando another all-star caliber player. IMO, thats the only way the Lakers could land Dwight without giving up both of their big men.

Let it play out...Buss has already said it's either or...they're owner is about to die and isn't interested in seeing a rebuilding project..He want's vets it's written in stone and there is not another team out there that can offer a 7 ft and a strong defensive player like Artest...that is really their best deal...you may not like to admit it but it is from a pure basketball perspective if you want Vets and you've limited your selections to NJ, Dallas, and LA...Dallas has nothing that can compare with Bynum and Artest..NOTHING bro...

That may or may not be true. Like you said, it has to play out.
However, trading Bynum and Artest for Howard still doesn't help the Lakers a whole lot in terms of where they need help most, which is basically everywhere except the big men. They still have an awful rotation of PGs, an awful rotation of SFs, no backup for Kobe, and have to rely on Gasol as backup C, which is not always a good thing.
Losing Shannon Brown and Odom really hurt the Lakers. Both guys were capable of scoring points, playing good defense, and playing multiple positions. That really hurt their depth badly, and while getting Howard might help a bit, its still probably not enough to get out of the West. And if they somehow do pull that feat off, then they have to face off with Miami, which is not going to favor the Lakers whatsoever.
About the only good thing is that they have another guy to build around for a while, as Kobe enters his decline years. But in terms of right now, the trade likely doesn't help them improve a whole of a lot.
And I think Houston mainly just wants Pau Gasol.
You couldn't be more wrong...Kobe has never had a suitable back-up..Odom and Brown served their purpose...just look at Odom in Dallas...it was the right call...If we get Howard and keep Gasol we'll show you how more than just the West was won...Gasol with Howard down low with McRoberts and the other white boy..Kobe on the wing is more than enough...
Kobe and Wade will cancel...Lebron will score but the battle will be won down low and Miami won't have enough for both Dwight and Gasol...Gasol will be lights out playing next to Dwight...we have enough ancillary pieces to win the le...

I havent heard anything about Howard for Bynum lately except we will not part with BOTH so we would need a 3rd team to make it happen.
We will see. I dont think this current squad can bring home 17 ...but I actually like this team so far over last year's ... I still hate the Lamar deal though we HAVE to make something happen with that draft picke and TPE for me to feel different. Lamar is sucking for the Mavs but I doubt we get a player close to Lamar with either, but we shall see.
