TJ finished with 9pts 8asts
Seeing Danny Green play, he reminds me of euro Anthony Parker.
Tim Duncan was big in this game as well ... 11 boards, 3 steals and 3 blocks
Having a load of fun watching your team win a close game? I'll take what I can get!!!
that's not so bad actually![]()
This was the most animated I have seen Pop during a game in a looonnng time. I think he was having fun in the fourth quarter!
boom shakalaka
TJ & TP each with 8 assists. Baller.
TJ has great vision.
It was bad for a while, then great, then bad, then great. Hopefully we can find a way to sustain the energy a larger part of the game. Such a difference when the energy/change of pace players are in.
Hopefully that jolt from TP woke him up and he can start to be the TP we need/love.
Good game, really enjoyed it...![]()
LakerHater gif of Pop yelling and slapping TP pleaseeee![]()
Just glancing at the box score -1 for duncan playing 31 mins
he will sit tomorrow
Even if it was against GS and Curry got hurt, the boost of energy we got can't be ignored. This may give the team the push they need to get through Manu's injury. All we need is .500 ball or so and we'll be fine.
I'll look for a clip.
oh , dallas is in town tomorrow and I bet half the team is dead tired already
Glad Pop woke them up. Once we started to run they couldnt hang.
trade him for a big
The Spurs sure need TP to play solid BB but I'm not overly optimistic tbh, I hope like Bruno said that he is a little bit out of shape but he may just be also loosing a step.
I fear TP haters are going to have a lot of fun this year.
The most surprising of the night was for me Pop treating TP like he was 20 y/o and TP responding like he was 20 y/o. I can tell he has a lot of respect for Pop. Not a lot of players would accept after more than 10 years of career this kind of stuff.
Agreed. I have always respected TP's mental toughness. He still didn't show explosiveness which worries me; same with Tim's level. But I hope he can prove he hasn't lost a step athletically. Don't worry about the haters. People should be frustrated with TP, but the hate gets ridiculous.
matt bonner continues to evolve into mr.ed....
the hate is always there cause his the same player from day 1, nothing has change and so will the haters....
you can tell he was trying to hustle his game with no end running into the defense down low and playing for the foul, he was lucky gettin bailed by the refs tonight on those type of stupid plays...
his forcing things when its clear it looks like his lost his speed and the compe ion has caught up to him...he should be improvising on other areas of his game, then relying on that same one trick pony everyone has gotten use to....
Parker has had his big moments in a Spurs uniform but I would hardly call him a mentally tough player. Too many bumps in his stay here for me to be able to say that tbh. Speedy Claxton, dissapearing in 04' vs LA, Michael Conely, etc. He can be really good when things are going well for him but when theyre not he lets it affect him to the point were the team is better without him on the court. Out of the Big 3 I would say hes by far the least mentally strong player.
His demeanor has always irked me too tbh. Seems to play with no passion or fire alot of the time, has a me first at ude at times as well. Hes just not a likable player imho. Is talented and is pretty good when hes on though tbf.
