He did a nice job and I applaud him.
...led the team in scoring and rebounding and barely a whisper of him on this board....
spur fan's hate of the Ginger Rocket is incredible.
He did a nice job and I applaud him.
lol The Red Rocket outplayed Dirk and Odom combined. Generations to come will speak of his heroic effort tonight.
Bonner is a ing wimp.
He could score 100 and I could give a .
Props to RR, but pulled down more trousers, errrrrrrrr boards, than Bonner.
Who gives a ? Hooray, he has a good regular season game!!! Hooo ingray!
Nobody respond to Blake's basketball takes. Please.
Of course he had his best game against a non playoff team.
I thought I would never see the day when I would actually be nauseated rather than ecstatic after a Spurs win.
shhhhh, girl.
Yes, my goods are good. Feel free to use them. Try using my basketball takes as well to help yourself out all around![]()
I think that people expect all-star type of consistency from a role player. For what he's being paid Bonner does a decent job.
I expect him not to suck on the playoffs.
Bonner definitely played his role well tonight. There's no denying that. Great game for Bonner let's not hate for tonight at least. That said, I haven't, but I'm confident that if I were to look up Bonner's numbers in any of he Spurs recent blowout victories (such as the Miami win last season) Bonner's number would be fantastic in all of them. That's the type of player he is, most often he excels when the pressure is lessened.
This was one of those classic SPurs blowout wins where we get on an opponent early, get open shots, shoots lights out and coast. Bonner is always big in games where we are on fire.
Haters gonna hate Bonner, till he shows something in the playoffs. Good chance that might never happen.
Solid take.
I may use that some day.![]()
THey aren't haters then, they are realists! Hating means you are good and hate for that, he is not.
Bonner's been absolutely miserable on offense this season. We were due a game where he starts hitting his 3s again. I hope he keeps this up entire the season but we all know that's a huge question mark.
Seen it all before.
No one doubts his ability to provide some positive effect during meaningless regular season games while his shot is falling and the team is playing.
A lot of things have to be going right though, obviously.
He played some good games against Phoenix in 2010 and against Memphis in 2011. If he were able to score 15 ppg every game he would command a bigger salary. He scores 5 ppg 2-3 games, than has one with 15.
I think that Pop's plan wasn't to play him so much last season, but Splitter missed the training camp and returned injured from an international tourny.
Realists for what? Bonners a role player, who disappears in the playoffs. My expectations were never high on him to begin with. I'm not gonna hate on him when he has a good game.
He prevented Tim from having to come back in the 4th. Props to him for that.
Matty being a star when we're up 20+ has never been in doubt, IMO.
this was 1 game out of 6, let's see how many more games he can shoot like that, maybe 3 more for the rest of the season and do his annual magic trick in the playoffs
