Blazers, Celtics, Bulls, and Knicks comes to mind
Then again, when times are good....the fans are good in most cities. Remember when NO was rolling 3 years ago or Sacramento like 5 years ago?
Places like LA & Miami always suck
real talk, who is it?
Blazers place was intimidating. They gotta be up there.

crowds vary but Denver will, always have the elevation getting teams tired faster
Portland and OKC probably have the biggest home court advantage right now in the NBA.
Yup Denver's al ude has always been said to be tough to play in. And it's also been claimed that Miami's nightlife can be an advantage, especially for opposing teams that are filled with young, single players. A lot of times, it still greatly depends on whether the home team is any good.
Denver for physical factors
OKC and Portland for noise factors
Has to be the Blazers or Boston ... read this I found on LG:
Ok... so I was in a less-than-happy mood when out came "The regurgatron." What an idea... Let's see, why don't we film fans in Laker jerseys, and really zoom in on their faces while they're eating. Late in the game, with the Blazers leading, let's put all these up close and personal clips of them eating on the big screen, played backwards to make it look like they're regurgitating, with a banner over it implying that they're doing so, accompanied by the loud boos and jeers from the crowd of course... Most of the subjects were women, and if they could get a fat woman it seemed to be a bonus; the crowd could then yell at the gross fat woman throwing up. Idiocracy... I haven't been to Staples in a few years; is public humiliation of fans in other jerseys part of the venue there too? At least I was spared, but talk about homerism.
LOL Classy Blazers fans are easily entertained ... can I get a Blazers fan confirmation of this?
Oh and I can confirm the Grizz dancing grandmas ... which is almost as sad as the dancing Mavs fatmen ... entertainment in some places ...smh![]()
I remember when it used to be the Delta Center in Utah...hands down. Now, it's gotta be the Rose Garden, with OKC a close second.
Old Delta, Old Boston Garden and even the Alamo dome all more fierce than the new arenas out ofthe new ones OKC and Rose Garden are the only that compare ...tbh.
Chicago has great fans but that place was not really tough before MJ, PJ and Pippen took over ..
Even when the Jazz, Celts or Old spurs sucked those 3 arenas were tough ...
HEck the silverdome when the Pistons were good was tough too ...because that was NOT a b-ball arena ...Spectrum in the 80's was pretty tough as well ...
And man, do I feel old I remember those old gyms that half the fans here probably havent seen on TV ...
Oh and Sacto when they were good was pretty crazy ... but it aint waht it used to be and not just cuz they suck ...I think the economy hit that fan base hard. they had some of the worst foreclosure rates in the country shortly after their run last decade ...
at the cowbell phase.
Yeah, when Arco was on that crazy sell out streak a lot of talking heads always said it was more like a college atmosphere; just more raucous and intense that your average NBA venue. OKC reminds me a lot of that now.
Memphis has got to be up there, too.
According to Thorpe, the Nuggets have the best home record over the last 5 years
All things equal, Utah. They have the elevation to go along with the whiniest crowds ever assembled. They literally cry about every call. Annoying for the road team but refs think twice before making a borderline call when Jazz Fan is in full throat.
I say it's the Pistons. Only because you need National Guard escorts just to get into the city.
The Pistons play in the suburbs.
The Detroit suburbs are like other big cities' inner cities.
