You have to remember Kool-Aid, the Hornets routinely lose their major stars after drafting them. I think Kobe would have left as well. They didn't resign Zo, they traded LJ, traded Glenn Rice, Baron Davis, and now Paul. Kobe would have been gone as well. Also, Kobe demanded a trade to the Lakers after getting drafted.

I wanted to turn this this thread in a "Is Kobe better than Iverson and Eddie Jones?" discussion, because I knew that Kool would once again embarass himself.

Two things, to correct Kool.

1) He asks when TD did not had a good team around him. Well, it's true. Last time was 2003. Young Parker, new Manu, serviceable Bowen. And no, Horry did not played as a Spur in 2003, he was a Laker, you ignorant Kool.

Let's reverse the question. What happened the last time Kobe had to lead a team by himself, and what happened that year to the Lakers? Well, we all know the answer to this question, right?

2) I decree that from now on this is a "Is Kobe better than Iverson and Eddie Jones?" thread. I know some of us don''t like Kobe, so be fair on your answers. Personally, though it's very close, I say Kobe is the better player.
