I like the Raja Bell comparison. Dude has just got a good, solid, all-around game. He was stellar tonight.
Kudos to Danny Ferry for the referral.

I was thinking the same thing. Nice find by the FO (Ferry).
I was looking at today's box scores and I was surprised that Green led all scorers. Wow.
I live in NC and watched Green a lot when he played at UNC. I wasn't impressed back when he was in college and I didn't think he even had that talent to be even a solid NBA player. If he keeps on playing like this then I will have to eat crow pretty soon. One thing that sticks out to me is he has to have a good work ethic because he has been showing tremendous improvement since college.
I dreamed of the day the Spurs could have a SF who could (possibly) average a block and a steal a game.
the FO better lock him up now, or his going to bolt next season....
I wouldn't say that...Spurs gave him his break. I think he's gonna hang around.
Knew that this guy was the truth. A legitimate two way player.
yeh 100k contract....lol
When did 900K become 100k?
hes all out hustle love his game, glad hes emerged in manus absence
Damn just watched the game on DVR... what a night for D Green!
Damn it, couldn't catch tonights game but Danny Green's stat sheet looked pret-tay pret-tay pret-tay good.
^if you didn't record it, you can watch/record it again tonight at 12 on FSSW.
isnt his current contract atm 100k? sorry me bad 900k
No. That's WAAAAAAY below the league minimum for any player.
Yeah, he pretty much sucked in college:
Danny has the most wins in North Carolina history: he played in more games (145) and had more wins (123) than any Tar Heel before him. He is the only player in ACC history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists, 150 three-pointers, 150 blocks and 150 steals.
One of four players in ACC history with 100 blocked shots and 100 three-point field goals (with Duke’s Shane Battier, Maryland’s Terence Morris and Wake Forest’s Josh Howard)
Scored in double figures 63 times (nine times in 2005-2006, four times in 2006-2007, 24 times in 2007-08 and 26 times in 2008-2009)
Led Carolina in blocked shots as a freshman with 32 and was second the next three seasons (at 6'7")
UNC’s defensive player of the game 15 times (twice as a sop re, six times as a junior and seven times as a senior)
Played in four wins at Duke, joining Tyler Hansbrough and Wake Forest’s Tim Duncan and Rusty LaRue as the only players to do that against Mike Krzyzewski-coached teams.
Never really superior in any one area in college.
He was just really good in a lot of different areas.
(puts GNSF voice)... so, he sucked...
whats his wing span, looks like he has short arms...
They are far from short - not as long as Leonard's. But would you believe me if I told you that he's got more hops than Leonard? Pre-draft combine, Green's standing vertical and max vertical were both better than Kawhi Leonard's.
Wow great job no really great job at creating a great spin job on him. Fact is fact his career scoring average at UNC was 8.1 points and 3.9 rebounds. Nothing is impressive about those numbers that lead me to believe he would ever amount to anything in the NBA. That is why I'm amazed that he is actually productive right now.
