One can want equality for bigots.
Which group is more hypocritical: conservatives or liberals? I think both groups are highly guilty of hypocrisy but in my experience I'd say liberals have the edge on this. With conservatives, it's about religion and being able to control everyone's every move. With liberals, they say they are tolerant, open minded and want to equality for all. However, if you disagree with a liberal then you are automatically labeled as a bigot. It's like if you say "I'm pro-life", then according to a liberal, you hate women.

Conservatives want an ultra religious government that controls what people do, while claiming to be the party that supports "small government", yet they're the less hypocritical ones?
I would say both are guilty and one can find radical examples of both.
Both are hypocritical groups but I think liberals tend to be more hypocritical. Just look at Obama. He is serving Bush's 3rd term.
And yet conservatives still hate him.
Do people really hate Obama? Isn't hate a strong word? I thought Bush sucked ass as president but I don't hate him.
Some posters here definitely hate him... in every sense of the word.
Nothing says "small government" and "personal responsibility" like government-mandated abortion policy.
What if abortion was decided by each state?

I consider myself more of a moderate or libertarian. I use to be a hardcore Republican and was a koolaid drinker when Bush was president. However, I woke up and opened my eyes and saw the truth. Conservatives have their flaws just like liberals do. A lot of conservatives want to waste time ing about gay people, abortion, and evolution when the main focus right now should be on the economy. Liberals want to about handouts and en lements.
Funny thing is, these days both sides are a lot of the same, even though they would like to think they're not, IMO.
They just vent towards different directions, but at the end of the day, it's really all about me, me, me...

Apparently people think I am hypocritical too! I think they just don't understand my viewpoint.
doesnt matter which side of politics u fall into, all are a bunch of wankers who will only act if it benefits them and always want to be the one credited for making the correct decisions to push the country forward, while the opposition party will always try to block from advancing the country cause they want to be the ones fixing the country...
