Mahimi & Novak... WTF!??
Somewhere in a strange yet parallel universe you will find...
THE BIZARRO SPURS 2012 ROSTER
STARTERS
PF Luis Scola
SF Stephen Jackson
C Ian Mahinmi
SG George Hill
PG Beno Udrih
BENCH
Drew Gooden
Fabricio Oberto
Keith Bogans
Nazr Mohammed
Ime Udoka
Steve Novak
Roger Mason, Jr.
They could have beaten the Bucks tonight, especially since Jack would have cancelled himself out.
Is there a "shouldn't start threads" option for the op?
This isn't a great team, but it is the Bizarro team.
Giving up brah?
Glad you like my team.
Is your name an acronym or something? What does it stand for?
Mahinmi at least is taller than DeJuan "the Hobbit" Blair.
But you're right, Novak sucks.
Roger Mason Jr. could play point in his absence, except he would need to work on dribbling, passing and avoiding dumb turnovers.
id say speedy claxton too but i dont even know where he is these days
No, but they all wear headbands.
Oh, and Scola shaved his head.
Haha, that would be awesome.
Scola with a shaved head WOULD definitely look BIZARRO!
Good pick. I don't think he's playing basketball now, but he is in his early thirties and would still be young enough for Bizarro purposes.
And Jackie Butler for that matter!
So what you are saying is we couldve had a roster even worse than the one we have now?
Only people I want on that list are Scola and Jack.
This isn't the bizarro team, it's the piece of team with a couple decent players sprinkled in.
I thought your roster was going to start with a team that we could have had given we made all the right moves.
STARTERS
PF Luis Scola
SF Stephen Jackson
C Tim Duncan
SG Manu Ginobili
PG Tony Parker
BENCH
John Salmons
Leandro Barbosa
Fabricio Oberto
Nazr Mohammed
Richard Jefferson - a 10-15 min role player that is.
Goran Dragic - yep, we drafted the er.
George Hill
Tiago Splitter
Ehh, gave it my best shot without too much effort.
Ovbviously they are not better. Superman > Bizarro. Still fun though.
That makes sense. Yours is actually more of an accurate Bizarro team than mine, since it's based on actual potential moves rather than just former Spurs players who are still in the NBA or capable of playing in the NBA.
My God, that would have been sick
