Roddy will be fine. He missed almost all of last year. He just needs time. I do think he should get back to attacking the basket though. Thats when he was at his best. He doesn't do it nearly enough. Defensively he needs to learn to be more controlled but thats how he's always been.

I don't think he neccesarily sucks, as opposed to simply being a system player. If he was in Golden State, Denver, Phoenix or New York, I think he would flourish. He needs to have freedom to take shots he wants. Thats the only way he seems to feel comfortable.
I think Rick is trying his best to try to groom him into being more than a system player, but its going to take a while, and the Mavs might not have the time to wait on him.
