son they are the best offense of all time and played excellent today. in the first quarter the backs turned the ball over in the red zone and the special teams did the same thing. that is what lost the game.

Dude stepped up. I definitely thought the defense would close the game out.
Defense completely killed it the whole game though, it was only right that Smith got his chance to shine. Harbaugh and his playcalling were very good at the end too.

Drew Brees through a pick that set up a 49ers touchdown. Without that TD the Saints win the game.
So yeah, it did affect the game
Big question is why did the Saints blitz and play man late in the game. Stupid coverage on Davis who burned the defense all game. Hope the rumors are true about Gregg Williams joining Fisher in St. Louis. He needs to go.

After the Graham TD and 2-point conversion I thought it was over. All they had to do was play zone. Smith wasted 50 secs on two short passes. Then Williams called a blitz and played man against Davis and boom the game was over. Unreal.
I think the Saints will let him leave. I think his contract is up anyway.
