As a Spurs fan that lives outside DC trust me, I'd take Bonner, RJ, Blair over Blatche anyday. The guy has had a few years now as a starter to show what he's got since the Jamison/Butler/Arenas blowup and still is just a chucker like most of the players on that team. His "signature" move is a behind the back crossover fadeaway. He doesn't get as many rebounds as he should although they do have Mcgee. He goes on Twitter to vent about why his team loses. He seems to be under the impression that he can make 3 pointers (Career 23.5%) On top of that he is hurt atm. Pass. I'd rather take a more talented Demarcus Cousins who is still young enough to figure it out. Blatche is already 25.

Dude is plain lazy. Especially on D. He never seen a shot he didn't like. Low, low IQ. Hasn't progressed in the last 3 years.

LOL the guy above me pretty much says the same thing

Yea, probably not the best idea. But we seriously need help in the front court. I'm excited about the idea of Malcolm Thomas, but it's really just an idea right now. No different than the like 37 call-ups we had last year.

Ok ok. Really bad idea. I'm just eager to bolster the front court and dump RJ. But that would definitely have been a move that would have haunted us for...well, about 4 years.

Anyways, do we think Sacramento will really trade Cousins? If so, should we be looking into him?

Here's another headcase that people wanted the Spurs to sign - J.R. Smith. These kinds of guys are just locker room cancers, and the craziness follows them wherever they go. Even China.

J.R.Smith nearly got involved in a fight with some fans at a road game in China after his sister, a spectator, tossed a bottle onto the court to protest a hard foul. With 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Smith was blocked by Bayi’s center Xu Zhonghao, and fell against an advertisement board. No foul was called.Sitting in the crowd of fans, Smith’s sister and girlfriend were irritated because it appeared dangerous. To show her anger, Smith’s sister threw a bottle into the court. One female fan who sat in front of them turned back and criticized Smith’s sister for the behavior. A fight broke out between the two women. When Smith saw it, he immediately rushed to the audience area. A Chinese version of the Palace brawl was averted when Smith was stopped by his teammate.

You can argue that it doesn't affect the team, but it does. There's a constant distraction. Phil Jackson managed to keep a couple of them under control. (Maybe because he's a bit of a spook himself?) But I can't think of any other team that has been able to win with one of these drama queens in the locker room.

Andray Blatche said NY specialist told him right shoulder is severely sprained & will require extensive rehab. Still no timetable.

Andray Blatche is an uncultured, immature, unconditioned, overweight buffoon who also doubles up now and then as a crass a**hole to screw his team.

I know we need a big man, but Blatche ain't it. As someone said in the Wiz forums not long ago, no team will win which plays Blatche. He is the very living of the anti-Spur.

I mean, soliciting for pros utes, getting caught for drugs, hosting shady parties after losing seasons.. and downright stupid mistakes in almost every game.

    Surely NO!

Stopped reading there! I would not take Bonner over anyone with any kind of talent. I live near DC and he does have a horrible work ethic and his at ude is not great, but he has some talent to get better atleast unlike the stiff Bonner. I would take that trade straight up everytime.

Why would the Wizards want Bonner, Blair, or RJ

Blatche would require one of the big 3, Leonard, Neal, or Splitter. Considering Blatche sucks and is a crazy, NO.
    True dat x2

You can't fix those things. He'll never be better than he is right now. He's hit the ceiling for someone who does no work on their game.

He's had his chance since they blew up the team, and he's stiffed.

Good Lord.......Hes a perfect fit, a big, who can shoot, post, handle, defend and play the pick and roll. His prob is he is on a very poor team with black holes everywhere and no leadership.

Put him in our startingl line up and we have a shot at a ring. Bottom line hes better than any of our front line guys right now!
It's funny that you see him actually doing those things, because nobody else, the Wizards included, does. If he did all of those things, HALF of those things, the Wizards wouldn't have him on the trading block.

Sounds liks the east coast version of DeMarcus Cousins - with a bit less talent of course.
