Mike Brown brought EC style defense to LA. It's ugly right now because they don't know the offense (one reason why Kobe is taking it upon himself to carry the Lakers offensively). Once they figure out the offense, the league is in trouble. With players in and out of the lineup (Bynum missed 4 games, Blake is out for 3-4 weeks, Barnes had a few DNP-CDs, etc) we are still doing well at 10-5. MB is tinkering with the lineups and using these games as practices.
As you guys have seen, we are the best defensive team in the WC (bar none). MB is building a defensive juggernaut in LA. Once the offense matches the defense, look out.
