Wizards have hope of landing a 1st overall and with John Wall, they could become a playoff team. I don't know who will coach them, perhaps Avery Johnson once he's ousted from NJ.
Kings have a lot of young talent, they are really just missing a good coach & experience.
So are the Hornets and Kings going to be relocated next year?
Wow the east has so many bad teams. Yes, the Bulls and Heat are the two best teams but they should have the best record ... extra games against the Bobcats, Wiz, Pistons is pretty sweet.
Do you enjoy watching naked gladiator fights as much as i do?
Personally, I think all the teams listed are going to be horrible for the foreseeable future. Even the teams that have some pretty good talent on their rosters have some type of dysfunction to how they're built or one or more of the individual players that will prevent good growth and development.
Barring a big move by one of those teams getting a franchise type player via trade or getting one through the draft, I think all of them will continue to be lottery teams for the next 3-4 years. Of those 7 teams, the team I think has the most hope is Sacramento. Tyreke has to get back to the 20/5/5 level of play he was as a rookie. And DeMarcus Cousins needs an at ude adjustment. But they have the talent to get better faster than any of the other teams. I also think Jason Thompson should get more playing time. I agree with the notion that that team needs a really good coach to get it done.
But realize you're comparing the Kings to the other worst teams in the league. Out of any of those bad teams, they probably have the best talent.
I think the Bobcats could be decent in a few years. They are slowly shedding salary and opening up room for some major moves while getting high draft picks. If only they hadn't wasted a #3 pick on Adam ing Morrison.![]()
