11 points, 4 boards, and 3 dimes on 5-7 shooting in 16 minutes so far. Hopefully Pop's dumbass will see what many of us Spurs' fans have seen all along. That Splitter is a very capable big and a far superior player to the red headed stick, who is 4-10 tonight.

I'm thinking Pop sat Duncan tonight so he could play Tiago and the stick equal minutes tonight for the purpose of evaluation. Sitting Duncan for "rest" makes no sense when he only played 25 minutes last night.

Make that 15 and 6. Every time Tiago comes in, the Spurs close the gap. It's not so much his offense, but his presence in the paint, which stick provides none of.

This will only give Pop incentive to cut his minutes and play Bonner 40+ mins

Probably. Matty will hit a key 3 in the 4th or something and once again earn Pop's unconditional love and trust.

he won't even have to do that. Catch the ball, dribble to the basket a couple steps then pass the ball will earn that love and trust.

But imagine if the Spurs still had Ian. A big rotation of Duncan, Splitter, Ian, and Blair would be quite nice. The stick amnestied.

25 and 10 on 11-13. Looks like the Spurs will lose this though because of Limp Jefferson.

11-12 if you take away that shot at the end of the half. 17ft fade-away.

Maybe that'll change in the second half of the season.

We're hoping it does for Tiago.
