bonner played better then blair, neal, rj this game

whether he was worth starting or not, he did do something the other wankers couldnt do, make shots when ur allowed to roam free offensively without worrying about %....his hustling, while the others are just fkn coasting

Green, Neal and Blair I might agree, but if you've already given up on James Anderson, then that's not really an option. Joseph deserves some time to adjust. Better now than after Parker gets hurt.
JA/NEAL/GREEN are all identical players with t he same skillset offensively as shown...beat man off the dribble and clank shots....

Didn't you say Splitter sucks at one point?

All those people that said Tiago is not that good, need to eat some crow.
Nope, I never said Splitter sucks, in fact IMO he is the best option going forward. I said that all last year and this year.

But what's it to you? I think you need to grow up.

Bonner played the best out of those guys. He's a good shooter and bound to hit some shots when he gets a volume amount.

What hurts is his lack of resistance on the defensive end. It really hurts because he simply provides no resistance a lot of the time on that end of the court. At times players can get ridiculously easy buckets when he screws up.

I haven't given up on James Anderson.

I think he's a volume scorer/shooter who sucks with limited shots. He's not a sharpshooter, rather a volume scorer who needs lots of shots to get in rhythm. If he gets shots, I think he'll start making them.

He's just not a sharpshooter like people in this forum thought he was.

that's why I haven't given up on James. I'd like to see how he does with more shots and freedom on offense. He's not a standstill spot up shooter IMO. If he still can't hit or get in rhythm like that then the Spurs should look to trade him or let him go.

Spurs haven't played him to his strengths IMO. Instead they're trying to put square pegs in round holes.

I apologize if you weren't one of the people that thought he sucked. I thought I recalled you saying last season that he wasn't that good.

So how helpful was the court time to Danny Green, Corey Joseph, Gary Neal, DeJuan Blair and all those scrubs you said it could help.
I thought the court time was good for Bonner, Neal and Joseph tonight. Joseph seemed to run the offense without screwing it up or turning it over and Neal and Bonner found some sort of a rhythm again with their shot while RJ continued to struggle and Green never really shot the ball.....?

Spurs on the way down, no doubt about that, too many average players.

Wasn't that a back court violation if the player has to step over to save it?
No, he never had possession while in the backcourt. He established himself back in the frontcourt before touching the ball.

Gotta give Neal a break. I bet his overall game improves as his shot returns. I expect him to get going soon.

As for Bonner, he needs to just keep shooting. Three point shooting saves you wear and tear through the regular season. Pop is doing it right.

Is this supposed to make any of us feel any better there? GOOD LORD if thats true then , we really are up s creek! BTW LOL at hustling still, that still makes me laugh when mentioning Bonner! Bottom line is most of our gusy you mention there are some shyt, which is why we suck right now. Splitter needs more mins, Leonard is cool, we need Manu back and TJ etc. etc. RJ is a bum, Blair is just too small and a chucker IMO, does well some games but. Bonner is just BONNER and always will be, if we rely on that first round exit, period.

Thanks for taking the time to look it up. I did too. You're right, it only matters where the ball goes.

I did not have to look it up, Kevin Durant did it in the playoffs. It was controversial so it had to be explained days after.

Well that was a crappy game to watch, you guys were missing your two best players and our guys shot well but took the night off on rebounding.

I don't think either team looks all that good right now - and honestly, I wish the Rox would go real young and go for a high draft pick this year, but our owner won't stand for losing so off to another .500 record we are headed.

I wish the Spurs would go to get a good pick as well this year! But when Manu gets back they are going to go balls out to just get in the playoffs IMO! Will hurt a pick in the draft but hey it is what it is now. Spurs are a middle of the road playoff team and barring something happening thats where it will stand

I feel the same way you do about your team.

Well I guess hope the Spurs get a lottery pick, because that seems to be the only way they'll actually play the guy.
