When Austin comes back next year, he will have a great shot to be a starter. This kid is really really good man. His at ude is why he was a 2nd round pick. Of course, having all of the others back will make this team even stronger along with another strong draft class.
The funny thing is he really didn't do anything that wrong. He didn't steal or hurt anyone. He worked hard and it showed during the combine. Trust me, I was more excited about him heading into the year than I was Prince. I don't know if you were paying attention but Goff was turning into a beast before the injury. If he stays healthy he can be really really good as well. I've given up on Sintim ever being healthy

My point earlier to DOK is that every team has good and bad luck. The Giants lost way too many starters to IR so I'm not buying they are getting lucky bull . They have had more penalties against them than any other team in the playoffs. (Really surprised they never called offsides on the 49ers D. They were constantly lined up on the Giants' side of the ball) They have had some of the most ridiculous calls go against them in the Playoffs and they are still in the SB. Any ing about luck is just ing because your team isn't in the SB.

Its hard to pick against the Giants, with that passrush and Eli playing at a MVP level since Dec. Didn't see the reg. season game, and was wondering how the Giants handled the Pats 2TE O, for those who watched the game.
The Giants are going to do a lot of chipping on the TEs. You will likely see a lack of a pass rush in the first half while the DEs get a good hit on the TE and play the passing lanes. They usually release the Kraken in the second half once the O is out of sync.

I did notice Goff turning a corner. Him getting hurt sucked as did losing Thomas. Both were on the rise. I really hope Terrel resigns on the cheap. I hope Smith returns at full strength. Time to cut ties with Sintim. He is fragile.

I guess you won't really know until he does.
The fact you're ignoring how mediocre Welker has been in the playoffs demonstrates your clear bias.

    The game was won
Yes it was. Welker being the 3rd receiving option = win.

It looked like a sprained ankle he was walking on fine a few minutes after. I'm sure he'll be 100%.

Dunno, usually you can walk/play on a sprained ankle right after it happens. It isn't until after it stiffens up that you know the full extent of how bad the injury is.

As it is, I still expect Gronk to play. He's too much of a badass.

Do #1 receivers usually have less than 60 yards in back to back playoff games?
I would say probably Marvin Harrison but then remembered he probably didn't play in enough back to back playoff games to make a meaningful contribution to that statistic.

Marvin Harrison is a great comparison to Welker who folds at crucial moments and gets manhandled by physical corners.

Rofl 11 rec 100+ yards in the last SuperBowl.

Wes winning the Super Bowl MVP this year will be epic.

tbh i'd love nothing more than to be wrong bout dat Wes but we all know it won't happen. Brady or Gronk will win SBMVP.

tbh i forgot he was even on the team. even more shocked that he had like 47 tackles this season. i literally have not remembered seeing him on the field once this year.

I never thought his snaps would be reduced so much. Not as bad as me thinking Cunningham would be good this year. I can't remember the last time I saw him on the field.

Since the Pats rbs suck, if they win, the only 4 choices will be Tom, wes, gronk or aaron.

Wes is due for a big night.

I haven't checked Vegas odds yet, but I'd put the odds of Wes winning it at about 5-1.

The way the Giants' secondary is playing the Pats RBs better not suck. Logan Mankins better not get ed on by Justin Tuck again either.

Idk what his exact injury is but Kyle Arrington needs to be healthy for this game as well. If McCourty, Arrington or Molden get injured at all during the game it means Julian Edelman is covering Nicks, Cruz, or Manningham. That's a disaster waiting to happen.
