Idk what your point is....I wasn't trying to dispute the fact that New England's running backs suck. My point was that they'll need some semblance of a running game (even if it's with Hernandez) against the Giants.

    That didn't answer the question

Do you consider the Super Bowl the weakest of sports championship games/series? I think it is because it's only one game and it's more of an event than a championship game. I know that football nuthuggers don't like it when people say that stuff but it's true. The NFL is the American Idol of sports.

The hype is always bigger than the game itself, but no.

In terms of most impactful, I'd say it is, because 1. its football and 2. its one game, winner take all.

In terms of being the best way to determine who truly is the best team, no.

    Key to the game:

If Eli wears a Citizen Eco watch, which is unstoppable like he is, the Giants win.

I think all the media hype surrounding it, the week of festivities, and all the talk about commericals, and the fact that the damn thing takes 4-5 hours to actually finish overshadows the game itself a lot of the time. Then again the boys haven't sniffed it in 15 years so I am probably influenced a great bit by that fact.

In exactly 6 days from this exact time, the Giants will be champions. This will be the start of a dynasty.

    No way, you think so?

This Super Bowl makes a very strong argument for keeping the BCS in college football

Only because your 49ers lost to my Giants. If the opposite has occurred, you would be calling this Super Bowl epic. It has been a week and a half and you are still fuming with anger.

Duh, because the superior TEAM would be in the game. How can Eli win when he can't even get past the 50 yard line

Once again your hatred and bitterness of the Giants clouds your judgment and makes you look foolish

    Giants lead in:

    -First downs
    -Total yards
    -3rd down conversions: Giants: 7-21, 49ers: 0-12
-Time of possession: Giants, 40 to 28
    -Turnover battle
    -Scoreboard: 20-17 Giants

saying the Giants can't cross the 50 when the 49ers lone Redzone possession came with 6 minutes left in the game (Giants had 4)

    Alex Smith = 97.6 Passer Rating, 7.5 Y/C
    Eli Manning = 82.3 Passer Rating, 5.4 Y/C

That's with 2 gifts. Eli probably doesn't break a 65.0 Passer Rating without Kyle

Thanks for the arbitrary stats I gave you ones that matter, but if you wanna go that route:

    Eli: 316 yards, 55% passing, 2 tds, 0 ints, 17 passing 1st downs

    Alex: 196 yards, 46% passing(), 2 tds, 0 ints, 5 passing 1st downs

Kyle Williams handed you 10 points in the 2nd Half....your only points. Without Kyle, you don't score again.

How could you when Eli could not sustain a single drive in the game for a score, unlike Alex did twice.

And what about the Bradshaw fumble which would have ended the game at the 20 with only 2 minutes remaining?

The Giants beat you in every statistical category except penalties. So you had HFA and the edge and penalties, yet still got blown out in every other category

Let me guess your next response:

"B-b-but if-if if" Wash. Rinse. Repeat

The better team won, so go back to making death threats on Kyle Williams' twitter account

Niners played the kind of the game that won them 14 games this year. If not for Kyle Williams and his 3 fumbles, Niners win by double digits. History already proved they were the superior team weeks earlier.

Giants better win Sunday because they aren't sniffing the Super Bowl once the Niners get rid of their 3-fumble backup Punt Returner. Yup that's what it took the Giants to win in overtime

You're a 9-7 team that got 3 fumbles & a blow blown call to win in overtime. Why are you surprised no one respects you? You got the Niners respect when they ass ed you weeks earlier without Gore

at knowing Harbaugh punked your team twice with the least talented team he'll have.

Giants never could stop Gore or run on our defense. Smith almost 100 Passer Rating....ouch

No one will remember who won the game sunday 5,10 years from now like they will remember Kyle Williams. Think about....no one remembers who won after THE DRIVE, THE FUMBLE, or THE TUCK.

Without your best player Kyle Williams, you aren't even playing so don't be mad he's stealing your thunder. Giants ed with Kyle not returning punts anymore for Niners

Giants = Forever 2nd rate franchise
