First, you need to establish whether it actually violates the new rules at all or not. If it does not, there is no need for a proposal. The rule cites personal information, such as real name, location, and pictures, none of which apply to this. Plus, at this point it's already common knowledge and public information. It wouldn't be "new" research of personal information.

So first, find out if it's a violation at all to save you and the committee the trouble of unnecessary discussion and voting.

But the board revels in 300+ post threads on banality. This attempt at breaking free from the status quo only made the status quo more official. The same people running unofficial are going to "rule" officially within this system.

As far as I know I never once got involved in board politics, so my inclusion was peculiar from the start.
