Looking ahead a couple weeks brings on the annual RRT. This seasons trip seems to be more grueling than past years, not necessarily for toughness of schedule or because of a shortened season; but for the simple fact that we suck on the road thus far. What are y'alls predictions, and who do you think needs to step their game up a notch to help us get through it?

9-0, and one for the thumb ultimately.
Wow, the last half of the RRT is pretty brutal. I would be satisfied coming home with a 4-5 record after that stretch. Hard to make a call right now, though. How we perform against OKC in the last home game I think will be a good indicator. If we can take down the top dog in the west before the road trip I think that will energize the team and get them off on the right foot.
7-2
lost at Memphis and at Denver.
Wow, the Spurs got some real opponents on their swing east; one of the perks of not being a team ESPN and TNT wants, I guess.
I'm gonna say 6-3. We're gonna drop the Phili and Denver games, and one out of LAC, Utah, or Portland. The other games we'll take care of business.
If Manu is back for the final part of the rodeo, against the west opponents: 6-3
if not: 4-5
4 or 5 wins
4-5 at best.
We suck on the road.
4-4-1
Its going to be tough this year and we haven't been a great road team at all.
I say at best, 5-4. More likely 3-6.
3-6 sounds about right.
5-8 for February.
18-17 by March 1st. As Che called it long ago, around 50%.
Homer call, but outside of the Sixers, the East looks doable. Just hoping the young guys find their shot and confidence on the road

7-2
I'm thinking 6-3 with the losses coming in Philly, L.A., and Portland.
The Rodeo Road Trip is always brutal but there is a big positive in this shortened season. There are only 2 back-to-backs. The second game of those back to backs are against the Raptors and the Trailblazers. I feel they have a great chance of beating the Raptors and if they play competetively against the Blazers I'd be a happy man. Road woes aside, I see them going 7-2.
I think 5-4 is reasonable for the Spurs. We have had a tough time on the road obviously, but when 9 road games are starting you in the face it's sink or swim. I think the Spurs will honestly embrace the challenge, and the young guys will use this as a growing experience. I still think Pop can coach and will have us ready. I personally can't wait to see how we do, a good gauge for how good our team is.
I'm very optimistic for this road trip. I see lots of improvements from our bench guys. Tons of improvement.
With that said, the vets have been here before and know how to win on the road. It's the young guys that need to figure it out. I think with the improvements they've shown lately, getting away from SA and bonding on the road is just what might get them over that hump... plus with more back to back rest days for the older guys, I see this glass half full.
Anything above 4-5 is gravy.
is it possible for manu to play sometime during the rrt? mid feb is around 6 wks of the injury...
