Probably not the best time for the President to bring that up. But I think Brewer knows she came off looking too aggressive.

PHOENIX -- President Barack Obama and Arizona's Republican Governor Jan Brewer appeared to get into a verbal argument just moments after Air Force One touched down in Phoenix Wednesday afternoon.
According to reporters at the scene, Brewer could be seen pointing her finger at the president during their brief exchange, before Obama walked away.
Brewer later told reporters the president had been upset about a passage in her recent book in which she described a meeting between the two at the White House.
"He was a little disturbed about my book, 'Scorpions for Breakfast,'" said Brewer, who was there to welcome Obama to Arizona.
Asked which passage of the book he had taken issue with, Brewer suggested Obama felt he had not been portrayed cordially in one of the excerpts.
"I said I was sorry he felt that way but I didn't get my sentence finished," she said. "Anyway, we're glad he's here. I'll regroup."
Obama was in Arizona as part of a three-day, five-state tour to push his economic agenda first outlined in Tuesday night's State of the Union address.
A White House official later released a statement describing its version of events.
"The governor handed the President a letter and said she was inviting him to meet with her," it said. "The President said he'd be glad to meet with her again, but did note that after their last meeting, a cordial discussion in the Oval Office, the governor inaccurately described the meeting in her book."
~~She'll get props from the right but she should have had more respect.

LMAO she's pointing at the pres like she owns his black ass
Brewer is more bat than Rick Perry, her state is just more irrelevant so she doesn't get the attention he gets
Probably did a few generations back tbh.
That's saying a lot. Did Brewer promote abstinence-only education and then mandate all underage girls in the state get STD shots?
He probably backed down like a wimp, as he usually does with the Republicans.
Looks like it from the photo.
No but she supports legislation that allows guns in all public venues, including elementary schools
There is no winning when you argue against bat- crazy....Obama did the right thing by just walking away....

check out this Christwire report on the incident...
BREAKING: Barack Obama Gets Into Fist Fight With Female Arizona Governor Jan Brewer
http://christwire.org/2012/01/breaki...or-jan-brewer/Onlookers report an intense scene, where Brewer was being shouted over by Obama, who then as we see in the image seems to be punching her with his fight hand as she points a quivering victim’s finger and begs him to stop the assault. Not content, Obama purportedly continued to lay into the sweet governor who had intended for today’s visit to be about ‘rebooting” Arizona and building a stronger America.
....
After Obama berated Brewer, he allegedly stormed off and looked proud of himself, not looking back as he boarded Air Force One and took off.

Lose-Lose situation
Books have come out where Obama did not assert himself in closed doors meetings or firmly shut down individuals when he should have. I watched a do entary about Bush 1 & his cabinet during Desert Storm. And Bush was a soft speaker but he knew exactly the perfect times to assert himself when the group needed it
IMO, Obama sold out the Democrats by standing on his own after the economic crash. At the time it seemed like a move he might have needed to get re elected but he found the golden ticket (caught Bin Laden) so now he just seems like a guy trying to please everyone instead of getting down.
At some point you have to go Bush II and atleast go out guns blazing. The worst is being seen as a lame duck President and that's the path Obama is going on. Atleast that's why opinion as an Obama voter, I didn't share the same when Bush was preaching, we're gonna do it my way
I'm not surprised that most Americans are fools.
Well Obama was stupid enough to start the argument with the bat crazy in the first place. And if you do it you do it behind closed doors.
Lesson learned.
LMFAO. That's good
Still he's the president. Show some respect.
This.
Part of what offends a lot of us moderates about the far-right wing is their incivility to ANYONE who doesn't toe their theoretical line, even when that someone is THEIR President.
Repugs, esp western/southern state Repugs, don't even admit the legitimacy of Obama, never mind show respect. The ugly, nasty, lying sons of es respect nothing.
prove the bold please.
I said especially, not exclusively.
Its funny when a Republican is in office, the Republicans are chastising Democrats to show respect to the office.
Then they do the opposite when a Democrat is in office.
And vice versa.
Both parties are pieces of .
