Its not a reason its the facts. He could never make thur, playoffs his entire career, and would still get a free pass for life, and, no one would call him out. But he averages a lot of rebounds!!!

What about Kevin Garnett then. Put up great numbers, was the talk of every news outlet for years, garnered huge contracts, but his teams regularily missed the playoffs or fizzled early. Was he just as overrated by the media?
