Two differences from the last time these teams faced each other: No Manu and Rubio starting. It will be interesting who gets assigned to Love, considering he roams the 3 point arc as well as in the paint. Splitter and Kawhi would be the notable suspects to have their turn defending Love.
No doubt, but garnett shouldered plenty of the criticism as well
Maybe that's because he was making 21 million a year by age 23. That's a uva lot more than Love just signed for. And that was 13 years ago.

Watching Kevin Love at games, it often seems to me he's about to throw a fit or get mad at someone.
that's cause he signed for max money right before the hammer came down on those insane contracts

I don't think Parker can contain Rubio.
Its hard to tell how this game will play out.. Sota' is a middle of the pack offensive team even with Love scoring 25 a game..they havent got much outside of him in terms of scoring. But the Spurs have been making these sorts of teams look like the 05 Suns so its all about defense as usual.
If the Wolves score consistently in the first 4 or 5 possessions on the game.. i would call a timeout straight away and drag Blair and RJ off the court.. it seems like every game in the last 5 the starting lineup has dug a hole only for the bench to come in and take the lead again.. then rinse and repeat in the second half.
With Dallas and Memphis the next two games, the Spurs really need this one.
It won't be easy though. The Spurs don't have a big that can guard Love and they have enough long and athletic players to throw at Parker.
these Wolves announcers should learn how to look in the camera while talking ... or was that a test
