Nice. While I hate the narrative that the super rich are "job creators" the truth is that neither of those are really the job creators. This is a consumer driven economy. Consumers are the real job creators. That picture needs a third frame with some dude shopping at Wal Mart.
The job creators are the ones the liberals wish to tax more. More taxes, less money to pay employees.
Whether they make a profit of $1 billion or $1 million, companies pay employees as little as they can get away with. Your job is just another business expense, and companies aren't going to pay more for a business expense than they have to no matter what their tax rate is.

That is the fault of corporate America. The middle class grew exponentially and did very well when things were made in America even with higher labor costs. Business leaders did not move their operations over seas so poor people could get cheaper stuff at Wal Mart, they moved their operations over seas so they could line their pockets with higher profits on the backs of cheap labor. This is exhibit A in why what is good for business is not always good for the country.
"Job creator" is nothing more than a republican buzzword there is no such thing. As Chump pointed out, the backbone of a healthy economy is a strong middle class which they are working feverishly to destroy.

Walmart actually carries quite a few items made in the USA. Other stores sell probably as many or more items as part of their inventory that are made over seas. To pick on Walmart alone, tells me you are a liberal lemming.
I used to be the one complaining in the 70's, when big stores started replacing the family stores. I do find irony in people now complaining about big stores eating each other up. Now that the thousands of individual stores are gone in a metro area, replaced by chain stores, franchises, Kroger, KKR owned, etc. Why does Walmart suddenly matter?

Sure there is food service but another service example would be consulting work which pays at a much higher wage. Sure both have wage scales that go down to minimum wage but I do not imagine there are a ton of manufacturing jobs that bill $500 an hour.

Now that I agree with. I can go out and find a better paying "parts changer' job, but I'm content where I'm at. Besides, servicing automation equipment that is classed being in a service industry doesn't have it's ups and downs (layoff) like in manufacturing. I was easily making more than 40% more than now, servicing manufacturing automation equipment, than the equipment I work on now.
