It's much more fun to piss you off than to start a new thread.
Good, your point is proven. Now go away. Start A&M thread. Start SEC thread. Go post on some Tech forums. Whatever. You win. I agree. Done.

There's no point in being dishonest in the times we live in with Twitter and Facebook. If you're in the public eye, you will get caught if you're not being forthright with people. Ridgeway is not dumb to the point where he would just dismiss something like this happening. He knew A&M mods would report it the second he was spotted in CS but continued to lie about his intentions (even to his own coach). Tell me something doesn't stink about that.
Why do that if you already had your mind made up about being an Ag? What can't you be like Daje Johnson and just admit you love a certain school more and decommit the proper way? Being "scared" is not a legitimate excuse especially if it comes at the cost of burning bridges with several people. The fact that y'all are failing to acknowledge this makes zero sense has me worried.
There are plenty of Tech, Texas, Baylor, LSU whoever other fans you want that post in recruiting threads at TexAgs or whatever the site may be. I have always posted at SpursTalk and don't really post much anywhere else hence I am talking recruiting here. Signing Day is always an exciting part of the year and while it may have dwindled down to a few recruits between us I still like to see where other players end up (like Dalton Santos, etc) and TFloss gives out really good information about other recruits.
Also when you start to look at junior days and all that we virtually have all the same kids attending.
The fact that we're dealing with 17 year old kids here should tell you all you need to know. What are you expecting out of them?
Plus, the reports of him being here last weekend as well show that he went an entire weekend here without anyone knowing or reporting it. Maybe he thought he could get away with it again. Who knows.
How do people know he was there last week? If he was spotted we would have known then, not now.
They're 17-18 years old. You expect them to handle these things like professional adults? That has me worried.
A&M pay sites knew he was here last weekend and elected to keep it quiet. Maybe it was upon request from the player or the staff. I don't really know.
tramp stamp, tbh
Sisk hasnt shown up since thanksgiving lol, he's back now all is right in the world again.
I've been here the whole time. Posting on this specific forum. hth
Well good I'm glad your ok, wasn't sure how you took thanksgiving night.
I was pissed. Glad Sherman got fired.
Thank you for your concern.
You mean like the Daje who commits to a school while publicly stating he wants to be elsewhere? Or like the Daje who says he has shut down his recruiting and calls his TCU recruiter and says he is definitely going there? Or maybe the Daje who then says an hour later he has re-opened his recruiting but still did not decommit?
Cannot believe you use Johnson as an example of someone who did it right.
Not faulting the kid for picking the school he wanted, but he sure handled it about as poorly as anyone I can recall.
I expect a 17 or 18 year-old kid to be honest with his head coach. How hard is that? Do you know how embarrassing this must be for Coach Hulme at Mansfield right now? Passing this situation off as "National Signing Day flips happen all of the time" or thinking kids are incapable of common courtesy is ignoring the facts at hand. How often do we see recruits operate in that manner (especially Texas kids)? Rarely. In fact, all of the guys Texas has flipped recently have been encouraged to inform everyone around them of their intentions before making a move and that's exactly what they've done. Ridgeway has done the exact opposite yet it appears you're condoning that behavior or are under the assumption that it's normal. I assure you that it is not.
Santos to Texas!! Hopefully this will get you guys talking about recruiting instead of Internet fights.
To say that Daje handled it poorly or was dishonest is not taking into account what he's gone through with Texas. Why would he publicly decommit from TCU without a Texas offer in hand? The UT staff had been dangling that offer in front of his face for months and when he felt slighted by them he reaffirmed his commitment to TCU. Johnson wasn't 100% sure he was getting an offer until Thursday of this week (after talking with TCU). He admitted he had a knee-jerk reaction and handled things accordingly once UT assured he'd be a Longhorn. He explained everything to everyone involved and the TCU coaches had seen this one coming for months. It's been reported just as long that TCU was expecting to lose him. It's not a new development. I have no problem with a kid publicly showing affection for his dream school if that's where he truly wants to be and if he thinks it will help him get an offer. That's what happened and nobody was surprised by it. Bottom line; he was honest.
Wait... Santos changed his mind just days before signing day? He's been committed to Tennessee for a few months. Crazy.
Street agents.
Money.
Cheaters.
2013 QB Chris Johnson of Bryan has committed to Baylor:

Hmmm hasn't Santos been a soft commit for a while?
DE Armstead just committed to Oregon, I wonder if this means anything with Cottrell.
You Mad? Yeah, you mad.
Yes, he's been listed as a "soft verbal" to Tennessee for some time. No-brainer when your childhood favorite throws you an offer.
