Who will lose minutes?..

Joseph is a scrub, he'll go to the D-league, obviously..

RJ is RJ..he'll make 3s at a high rate during the regular season, he's one-dimensional..

Green is a streaky 3-point shooter, his defense is usually ty IMO..

Neal has the highest peak of these players, but his D is bad and he's an atrocious decision maker..

Kawhi is painfully inept, offensively, but he's a great rebounder and good defensive player..

In most games, rotations spots could be assigned by committee, but eventually, a rotation must be set..who loses minutes?..

Green won't be playing by the end of the season. Joseph like you said. Kawhi won't lose minutes, so I'd expect him to cut into RJ's... though RJ should and will still get heavy minutes.

Try them all and go with whoever is playing better.

The only players that should have "guaranteed big minutes" are TP, Manu, TD and Splitter. The rest should earn his minutes on the game. With this I mean that Pop shouldn't keep a player on the floor just because he already has an ideal rotation. If RJ starts and he sucks and Leonard is his reserve and he sucks too, try with JA or Green. We're deep and should take advantage of that.

I think he'll use Green, Leonard and Neal, based on the situation. All bring enough to the table and have all played well enough to not be dropped from the rotation. I actually think Green has the inside track to first wing off the bench minutes though, because he's the most well rounded of the bunch. Considering the amount of scoring depth, ball handling and play making this team possess when healthy and the fact that he's the worst defender of the three, Neal will probably play the least. Leonard, I could see starting, being the first wing off the bench, or eventually being dropped from the rotation altogether. This is part of the reason why they need to rid themselves of Jefferson, though.

Even though he's most likely signing with the Clippers, if the Spurs signed Martin, they'd probably be the deepest team in the league. They'd be so deep that Neal and Blair would probably be their 11th and 12th men..

I don't see Green's minutes being cut at all. He's pretty much the 6th man at this point.

What I fear is Pop dropping Kawhi out of the rotation simply because he does not have consistent offense. There's also the possibility of Pop not trusting him to perform well in the playoffs. I expect this to be the rotation:

Starters: Duncan, Blair, Jefferson, Manu, Parker
Reserves: Splitter, Bonner, Green, Neal, Ford

Jefferson's strictly a shooter, and while he has been solid, he's still streaky..

Green is well-rounded, but none of his skills stand out..I'm coming around on him, especially when his shot is on, but he's not a "lock player"..

Neal has the same characteristics as RJ..

I hope Leonard stays in the rotation..

As far as losing minutes, it should be him, CJ going back to Austin, and RJ...imho

I hope so too. Leonard may not be a shooter, but he brings other things to the table which is what you mentioned. He brings attributes that this team desperately needs. We have enough shooters so disposing one of RJ, Green, and Neal should be done. Personally, I would throw RJ out of the rotation and make Green the back-up small forward while Kawhi starts.

Neal does have the same characteristics as RJ but Neal is obviously way more mentally strong so it would make sense to throw RJ out of the mix since we know RJ will just be lazy and scared in the playoffs.

Splitter-Duncan-Kawhi-Manu-Parker should always be the finishing five, IMO. You could also throw Neal in there if he's shooting well.
